This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We reserved two rooms in a back building that resembled a neglected military barrack—far removed from anything shown in the online photos. The pool was crowded with non-guests blasting loud music, and the parking lot felt unsafe, with homeless individuals lingering nearby. Both rooms were filthy: the beds were heavily stained and rock-hard, and the only furniture consisted of a battered round table and two mismatched chairs that looked like they’d been salvaged from a school dumpster. One toilet was missing its tank lid and sprayed water when flushed. A sliding glass door in one room wouldn't close properly, compromising both safety and privacy. We were so uncomfortable and appalled that we left immediately to book another hotel. When we requested a refund, we were directed to email the manager. Her response? No refund, claiming the rooms had been "used"—despite our clear explanation that we hadn’t stayed due to the conditions. We then reached out to the corporate office but received no support. Even direct outreach to corporate leadership was met with silence. ⚠️ Believe the negative reviews. Any positive feedback must be from staff or from guests with extremely low expectations. This property is a total misrepresentation—and a serious safety concern.

They REQUIRE $100 CASH deposit at checkin. When checking out I asked if anyone forgot their deposit and she said “sometimes”. I believe they require it in cash so that when someone forgets it, they pocket the money. If it were on a credit card, the traveler could block it.

They asked for a $100 cash deposit because their card reader would charge them for putting a hold on my card. We arrived after the free cancellation period, so I had no option to cancel and find another place. The air conditioning didn't have louvers, so it blew directly at the bed. It was overall grumpy. The tv didn't work.

At checkout they accused us of stealing a towel and took $20 from the deposit. They spoke Spanish and was cursing about the issue. Very rude and will tell anyone who can listen to not go there.

The credit card machine was down for the deposit. I had to pay the deposit in cash. Had to wait for somebody to come to check out because nobody was there called the phone 10 times. Staff did not show up till 6 AM to check me out.

Terrible experience with staying at this Motel 6. Front desk person was very rude and did not address any of my concerns. Property is run down, the hallways were covered in white paint splatter and the whole hotel smelled like weed. Bathroom shower curtain falling off rail, tube dirty and furniture in room ripped. Just a terrible stay. You get what you pay for.

This property is located in a high crime area. I had my rental car's registration tag stolen while it was parked. There was a domestic assault incident down the hall from my room. I called the cops! The police did NOT intervene! The motel has no internal security guards. It is NOT a safe place to stay.

This place sucked so bad that I checked out early! Where do I even start??? Let’s see…..There was mold in the bathroom, no blankets, what looked like a poop stain on the door, a large gap in the entry door, the beds were hard as a rock, trash on the ground outside, the secure door to the 2nd floor didn’t shut all the way so any random person could just walk in off the street, shady characters hanging around outside and in stairwells, and the parking was terrible. This place was ok pre-covid, but it shouldn’t even be operating anymore in its current state!

The place was dirty the table was broken the bathroom towel holder was broken the curtain on the sliding glass Door was falling of and had small holes on day one I saw a cockroach at the headboard corner shortly after one crawling on the floor our first room had no refrigerator or microwave we were given another room and that had a microwave and the stand was falling apart the paint or Formica was coming apart the place smell like cigarettes

I walked into my room on the first floor. There was at least 30 bugs flying around in the bathroom, ketchup pack in the crack on the table by the bed floor was sticky like a soda has been spilled. Top of the nightstand was sticky. Went to the front desk explain to her the situation, she went to the room come back and said there was nothing wrong with it. It took me several attempts for her to call the manager to move me to room 109. I took pictures of the bugs on the mirror on the walls on the lights as I was showing them to her a customer was there , he was looking at them too and left. All she had to do is give me a new room and not be so rude and nasty it when you stood in the bathroom you were bombarded by these little flying bugs the floor, your foot stuck too. How can she not see that Seem like this front desk lady at the time didn’t care had an attitude but the morning lady, not sure if she was Spanish or not awesome Mormon made up for the rudeness of the previous employee. The overnight man was I was doing laundry my key would not work to get back in. He fixed it in a second was prompt courteous. Unfortunately, the bad experience was when I checked in now I’m staying at Motel 6 off MLK by I.4 I will be here for several months instead of down at the other location
