The room window lighting blinder was broken. I asked the reciption to change my room. He downgraded into a less pleasant room after 10 min of “searching”. According to him everything is fully booked but I can see while searching in hotels.com there is still available rooms for the same dates. Thus not happy.

This hotel clearly has a problem with heating. I´ve stayed there 4 times over the past month (January/February), and so far I´ve only stayed in one room that had sufficient heating. Most window and terrasse-doors allow for cold air to enter simply because the arent installed properly. The building and rooms are old and generally needs to be renovated. On the other hand, the rooms are in average 20-25% cheaper than other hotels in the city. Staff members are always very helpfull and the hotel is right in the center of the city.

This pertains primarily to the young lady who checked us in on the evening of Jan 7. No greeting, no welcome, just said checking in? Then laid the key on the counter. No comment, no verification, nothing. Totally indifferent attitude. The same girl later took our meds to be refrigerated but she put them in their freezer, which ruined them. The manager couldn’t even find them at first because the girl apparently didn’t leave any documentation for the other employees to locate them. The manager handled the situation very professionally. They did have a nice breakfast. No drinking glasses in the room. Room was always cool no matter how we tried to adjust the temp. Zero counter space in the bathroom. $11 for a draft beer. You decide!

Expected more from a 4 star hotel. Room was clean, but did not live up to expectations, the entire hotel needs to be renovated. Restaurant and breakfast nothing special, they ran out of selected dishes.

What used to be an elegant old hotel, has been completely gutted of practically all original charm and beauty. It is now an entirely non-descript chain hotel. Location is good and breakfast buffet okay, but don’t expect anything but a non-descript chain hotel.

Heating was off when i arrived, noise from street was big and you woke up any time somebody went to the door in the hallway l.
