I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and this is the first time I didn’t see any hot plate options like eggs and meat. But a staff member asked what I would like and the cook in the back prepared it. It’s the low season, so I suppose that was why.

Decent room, friendly staff

I was able to check in much earlier than expected. This hotel and amazing staff always exceed expectations. My favorite hotel in Heraklion.

We have been staying at the Galaxy for over 10 years and it never disappoints us. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast.

Wonderful hotel and staff, lovely pool, great food.

I would very much recommend this hotel. If you don't mind the 20min walk to the centre of town and the slightly challenging parking it is faultless. Comfortable, quiet and great facilities. The staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. Special mention to the breakfast - staff and food excellent.

Front lobby was uncomfortably warm.

Stayed for a couple of nights before going on to a big resort to meet family. Lovely comfortable room, clean and tidy. Great breakfast. Food by the pool was a little expensive but the pizza was fantastic

The service and warmth of the staff was evident from the moment we arrived. The great pool and restaurant were amazing which was great because we had been travelling for weeks and could not muster the strength to go into town.

Really great hotel in the heart of Heraklion. Very convenient to the port and the airport. Staff was very nice and went over and above; we were leaving before breakfast so they made breakfast bags for us and sent us on our way. Highly recommend.

Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so much choice. The hotel was very clean & the rooms were a little small, but had everything and were also very clean.The pool area was small, but lovely and suited us perfectly. The hotel is located about a 10-15min walk from the city centre and the sites were all accessible by walking, taxi or bus which was perfect for us. We will definitely be back.
