Conveniently located and very comfortable hotel. We really liked the fact that the lobby area was very welcoming and everything was included. It was a great place to come back to after a day exploring the city. Extremely helpful staff and wonderful breakfasts - probably the most complete we've had in Europe.

Great location between the center of town and the some of the more neighborhood restaurants and shopping areas. The staff are extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed the "all inclusive" nature of the hotel meaning that all of the drinks in the room and bar are included as well as nightly cheese and crackers. The room is a bit pricey but I found that this is consistent with most of the other nice hotels in Amsterdam. I would definitly stay here next time visiting Amsterdam.

Hotel was in a great location, walkable to many attractions. Loved the quirky vibe. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh omelettes were delicious. Staff was very helpful. Highly recommend!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. We loved the all inclusive amenities. Would stay here again.

Staff was wonderful! Bed was comfortable. Snacks and cheese trolley in lobby daily was a bonus. Breakfast was outstanding. Great central location . 15 - 20 minute walk to Van Gogh, Rijskmuseum and Vondelpark. 25 minute walk to train station and close to flower market and lots of restaurants. Comfortable lobby.

We loved the morning and afternoon snacks, the lobby area for hanging out, the staff, and the perfect location.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is excellent. Room was very comfortable, quiet and well equipped with everything needed for a long weekend stay. Complementary minibar was great. Roomy bathroom with big shower. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with a very good range. “All inclusive”is a great idea - a huge range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in the very comfortable lounge. A really pleasant place to sit and relax. The daily wine and cheese buffet looked excellent, although we were busy each evening so didn’t indulge.

Con: The bed cover was not big enough for the bed. Pro: I did enjoy the cheese and wine hour very much. It gave me time to talk with others travelers staying at the hotel. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good too.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Next time we will plan on staying longer. The Hotel is excellent. The staff is super helpful and the breakfast offerings are great. We really liked the evening social time and meeting other guests.

The rooms were dated but the staff was very nice and the free breakfast and wine happy hour were nicer than we had anticipated. We did have to pay additional “city tax” at the end of our stay, which seems at odds with Expedias travel policies

Great location. Lots and lots of amenities included such as unlimited access to the bar, wine and cheese hours, breakfast, etc. First hotel I've stayed in where I don't feel like I'm getting nickeled and dimed on everything.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel itself seems so be getting a little tired but still awesome!

The staff was incredible. The breakfast kitchen downstairs was perfect. The open, self serve bar was almost perfect (missing tequila) but otherwise, fabulous stay.

We had a great time at Banks Mansion! We had a canal view room, and it was lovely! The location is really central to so many things. Restaurants, the flower market, and the tram (to Central Station) are right up the block. The hotel itself is delightful! The breakfast each morning has a delicious variety of choices: fruits, yogurts, meats, cheeses, and an omelet station. The staff at breakfast is so friendly and accommodating. There is a 24-hour self-serve open bar with all you could ask for, as well as cookies or chocolates available all day. From 5:00 - 6:00 each night there is a most tasty cheese assortment and snack spread provided in the lobby/living room. Add to that, the free wine bar from 4:00 until midnight, and you really have it all. We enjoyed every second and hope to return!

Perfectly located for walking almost anywhere. The happy hour, cheese trolley, and breakfast were lovely amenities included in the cost. This really made the stay 5-star not having to worry about the usual high costs of hotel amenities. The room was cozy and comfy. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
