Check in was nice and smooth. Room was clean and had everything you needed to stay a few days. Only draw back at the time of stay was the elevator was busted.

Elevator was broken. Floor in the room was very wet from either the mini fridge or the air conditioner. Sink and shower drains were so slow, they could eventually overflow. Pool did not open on time. Had to go ask to have it unlocked to use it. Water puddle under the exercise mat in the fitness room. Peloton stationary bike didn’t work.

Older property in need of upgrades. Refrigerator in room sounds like an old car. Water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. Elevators weren't operating so taking the stairs was the only option. Ran into an older gentleman at the bottom of the stairs with a cane struggling to climb stairs. Guests should have been notified.

Bottom line: Excellent customer service, terrible property management. The one and only elevator is inoperable. Considering most rooms are on floors 2-5, that is a no-go for many people and I almost requested to change properties before I even got my key. My 68-year-old dad sucked it up because it was after 9pm when we finally arrived—luckily we ended up only being there for 2 nights. Tasia, the young lady working nights (by far the best part about our stay) at the desk offered to rebook me at a nearby Hilton property, but it was already quite late and I had an appointment at 9am. When we got to the assigned room on the 2d floor (she tried to accommodate us), there was no AC…in Raleigh…in mid July. We were quickly rebooked to a 4th-floor room but Tasia personally climbed up to that floor just to make sure the AC was ice cold in the room before processing the room change and keys. I called Hilton back just to get her name for this review, and I’m a little ashamed I forgot it after just a week. She did a great job and deserves a raise and to work at a premier Hilton property. Upon arrival we were informed since we booked through a third party service they were not able to contact us about the elevator being out of order. No biggie, but then 3 hours into our stay the toilet over flowed and had to be plunged 4 times. We cleaned it up and when we informed the front desk that it happened (as well as asking for more towels) they seemed unfazed. I would not recommend this location or stay here again.

Staff was very polite. Room was reasonably clean but appears the hotel needs some remodeling. Bathroom door had peeling paint and mold around the bathtub grout. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast fake eggs. Not up to the standards for Hampton Inn.

When we arrived we were told that our room was on 4th floor and elevators were broken. Nobody called us to let us know of the problem. We canceled and found another hotel. Never go here again.

The room only sleeps 4, even though my reservation was for 5 with a sofa bed. The manager was rude and said that is what I get for going with a third party and she can’t help. Only help she provided was to refund my money and let us look for a hotel in the middle of the morning. We had to sleep three on a bed which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.
