The Mercure Rio Boutique Hotel Copacabana has an incredible sense of style and a warm, welcoming team that made my stay unforgettable. My oceanfront room was spacious, spotless, and offered breathtaking views of Copacabana Beach. With a delicious breakfast each morning and a prime location in the heart of Rio, it was the perfect home base for exploring the city!

First time in Rio de Janeiro and its the first of many visits, we loved it. The hotel is in a perfect location center of Copacabana where you can walk to either side and have endless options of bars or restaurants to choose from. The staff on site amazing and eager to help. The rooms with a side view of Copacabana worth it! Unfortunetly the A/C is old and doesnt work properly it was warm most of the time its so old they have it working on a Universal Remote, plus needed some cleaning on the vents. The shower needed some looking after but other than that the Hotel is worth another try and for sure would recommend.

Excellent people working, variety of breakfast options, excellent location, good size room. The only downside is AC. I was not able to switch it off. It covered in thick layer of dust and makes room smell of damp.

Just great

Great location. They should change the sheets and towels when cleaning the room. The shower didn't have hot water. Great options to eat and shop that you could just walk to. The beach is right in front with a lot of activities, music, and vendors around. Safe environment as well.

Like the cute boutique hotel. Front desk is nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a bit worn out. But in general it is good.

Location of property is good! Walking distance to shops and restaurants ! Hotel itself is ok I would not come back! The ac works poorly .. every time I shower water drips from ac vent. I had lunch there and found hair in my food! Lipstick stains on my coffee mug & stains on bed sheets. Overall if you are looking for just a stay I would recommend but if you want more of a luxurious hotel I would not stay !

Great location!

Located on Copacabana beach, within walking distance of Ipanema, and tons of shopping/dining/entertainment options, with a friendly & helpful staff, this was a great option. Property was well-maintained. Loved starting everyone morning enjoying breakfast on the front patio. Definitely recommend.

Beach is 1 min walk - literally just cross the street. Staff very friendly and speak English. You can ask them any questions or inquires. Has an International outlet and USB outlet which were helpful.
