Came to SD for a nail and pedicure class

Everything was an additional cost. No coffee in the morning. Then went to buy coffee and the espresso machine wasn't working. Couldn't get items delivered to my room so I had to wander around the hotel to get items from various places. Then balcony door was awful. Couldn't get it closed after it was opened. Super noisy when balcony door open from all of the freeways close by. Parking was expensive for not even being their for 24 hours.

Great hotel good facility, close to shopping malls and resturants. Overall a very central location to oldctown, beaches and trolly line.

1. I didn't realize there wasn't a fridge in my room until I arrived with snacks that needed to be refrigerated. Also there wasnt one available for me to "rent" 2. The room smelled a little musty. 3. The tub's drain was really slow and I found myself standing in water every morning. my stay was for 4 nights, I was attending a conference. The staff was very friendly. Maintenance person who came to my room for a toilet issue was quick and professional. Being across the street from the Trolly was great, very convenient. The pool was very clean and my time there was relaxing.

Mainly that its very clean I usually stay at Embassy to get free breakfast

Parking was confusing. Designated parking not as clear. Staff at night is not as friendly as in the morning. Overall it was ok.

Not even 2mins in the room and the AC vent pops off startling us. Sink didnt drain, and Shower gets flooded. Yes, I checked the clogger setting and both still had issues. I reported the issue and the “fix” was to just not move the clogger. It didnt drain once again. Shower drains extremely slow and floods very easily. The room was nice and all but the drainage issue and how it was handled, made me rate my experience a 3 star.

I would never book from your site anymore. I lost my money, I was scammed. When I choose the date while booking you booked me to the different date. I was left on the street with my family, and nobody helped me to resolve this problem. You guys are Scammers!!!

The property is nice but it is outdated. The lobby is nice but rooms need to be updated.

For the price we paid for this stay I would expect extremely clean rooms. There was a used towel in the room, few towels and over all looked like a dirty room. The stay for our puppy was no cake walk. We rented this go out to dinner and catch a concert. When checking in, they told us in highlighted lettering we couldn’t leave our crate trained dog in the room alone. So we altered our plans for dinner to bring our pup and then snuck out going down 10 flight of stairs to attend the concert. No way we were going to miss our concert. The hotel should have mention these terms in advance to decide if it’s the right stay. Not the day of. Overall I felt like we over paid. $40 for parking, $75 non refundable for the pup and $200 plus for the stay. Needless to say we felt like we WAY OVER PAID.

The room was a little bit smelly

*smelly carpet* for $200+ per night & the hilton brand I expected higher standards. But its Cali where everything is overpriced and over rated. The smelly carpet is only in the room. The hallways and common areas didnt have the musty water-logged stench that disappointment greets you in the guest rooms

In a very convenient location, room was dirty in certain areas, window treatments in need of repair, late check out insufficient, charged for early check in as an Honors member

This hotel is way above and beyond when it comes to service, cleanliness, distance to tourist spots to see in San Diego.We really enjoyed our stay for one week.The staff was excellent, very friendly and professional.We love staying here and will come back in the future Its highly recommended! Keep up the excellent work!!

We had a comfortable stay at this Doubletree. The rooms were outdated and looked worn. There was water damage to the shelf that holds the minifridge and in the bathroom. The lounge chair in the room had stains and I didn't feel like the money we paid was worth the room. The housekeeping staff were nice, polite and attentive. The outdoor pool was nice and I appreciated the cabanas. The spa's jets seem to be out of order. The small restaurant was decent but hours weren't aligned with the hours we were at the pool, the opened at 4pm.
