The place is very convenient because the metro 🚇 is under hotel. My only complaint is pool. It needs to be cleaner. I hope they invest in a larger one. It helps with folks with kiddos. Other than that very good hotel , friendly staff and a beautiful breakfast !:

What You Might Have Liked or Found Unique: Spacious Suites – All rooms are typically two-room suites, offering a separate living area and bedroom, which adds comfort and privacy. Complimentary Cooked-to-Order Breakfast – Fresh, made-to-order breakfast (e.g., omelets, waffles, etc.) sets it apart from many hotels. Evening Reception with Free Drinks & Snacks – The nightly reception with complimentary drinks and light snacks is a signature perk. Indoor/Outdoor Atriums – Many Embassy Suites have beautiful open atrium designs, which feel airy and upscale. Family-Friendly Amenities – Great for families with kids because of the space, pool, and extras. Good Value – You get more for your money in terms of space and amenities compared to standard hotel rooms. ❌ What You Might Not Have Liked: Outdated Decor in Some Locations – Some properties may feel a little dated or in need of renovation. Crowded Breakfast or Reception Areas – Because of the free amenities, peak hours can feel a bit hectic or noisy. Parking Fees – Some locations charge high rates for parking, which can be frustrating. Limited Room Service or Onsite Dining – While breakfast and snacks are covered, you may find limited dining options if you want a full meal on-site.

When we first arrived the room they put us in was not cleaned from the prior occupants, then our toilet plugged up and they did not get it fixed until the next day after calling 5 times. The pool was dirty and being used by the public for swim lessons, the hot tub was too hot and the jets did not work. The sofa bed was super uncomfortable, the mattress had no padding, the springs were popping out. The hotel was combined with business offices. Positive notes: the staff were super friendly and apologetic. The hotel was on top of the metro train which made commuting easy. Would NOT stay here again, not worth the cost.

The front desk is often unattended. At least the couple of times I needed them Also, there is no guest bathroom on the lobby. A guest needs to walk over to the mall bathrooms.

The staff was fantastic. Hotel room was OK. The 530 snack and drink thing was less than what was expected. There was bags of potato chips, popcorn bags, and a mix of variety of vegetables raw I guess I was just expecting more from a Hilton.

The hotel is perfectly located next to shopping, restaurants and Amazon Fresh! The Friendship Heights Metro Station gives addedtravel convenience to Downtown DC and IAD Airport. The included breakfast and nightly evening reception was also wonderful. The service staff and housekeeping staff were also excellent. The only reason for not rating 5 stars is because of the inconsistent service with the front desk. Rate of service was employee-dependent; some staff more friendly and accommodating than others, and getting answers from the front desk via telephone was a challenge. But, overall, we would stay here again!

Our stay at the hotel was actually great. From the location of the hotel to the service, room, breakfast and comfort of the room. It was clean and roomy! Only complaint is that the shower head had low pressure of water. Seemed like the shower head is clogged. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Will come again and highly recommend!

Pros: metro station access through hotel. Daily breakfast (minimal variation during our five days). Large rooms with fridge and microwave. Cons: hot tub was broken. Hotel shops were gutted so nothing close by. Will be great when construction is done. Noisy construction at 7 am. One of the beds was very creeky.

great location in relation to the the metrorail, hot tub did not work and if you want to enjoy the pool dont bother. There are swimming lessons with tons of small children every day. They close the entire pool but about a 5 ft strip. We were very discouraged not to be able to utilize the amenities.

We stayed at the property for two days. Unfortunately, on one of the days, the water stopped working completely. We were told the entire city was affected, but regardless of the cause, it was a very bad experience. We couldn’t use the bathroom, take showers, or brush our teeth. It made our stay uncomfortable and stressful. While we understand that some issues are out of the property's control, better communication and contingency planning would have helped. Overall, this really impacted our experience negatively.

Breakfast was great. The cooks were so friendly and cooked the omelets perfect. Roger helped carry our food to our tables, gotvus everything we needed and took our empty plates, all with a smile. He was fantastic. The only con was 2 double beds, a queen would have been nice!
