Fantastic across the board

Very good services, perfect location to explore the city

The hotel is located between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue so convenient to lots of shops and restaurants. The bathroom was super clean and larger than we expected. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was not ready upon arrival so I’ve got downgraded room rather than waiting for the booked type of room was available. Tiny room, limited amenities. Limited choice breakfast. Noisy AC. Overall very clean.Safe area. Polite and professional staff.

Won’t stay here again, I am a VIP for Hotels and never received what I was owed. The check in process is very clunky. Nothing like the NH’s in Europe

Located close to the Morgan Library and Museum and an easy walk from Grand Central Station. The room was clean and everything seemed new. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff was friendly. Rooms are small, which is common in NYC.They have an annoying $40 a day "Destination Fee" which they state is to cover things like wi-fi and ability to check your luggage before and after your stay that you would expect to be included and a piano player that is not even there on weekends when we stayed. They provide a "free" bottle of wine.

Such a lovely stay! Perfect location, friendly staff, nice rooms, fabulous bar and lounge with live music mon-fri with Serafina restaurant in the lobby!

I like the location and its clean and well maintained. I feel like the staff could be more flexible and nice to their guests. The women on front desk could rude sometimes

The staff was very kind at all times. The cleanliness of the room, sheets and towels seemed like new.

From the moment we arrived the service on the front desk, to the conceirge collecting the luggage and taking to our room was great. I like the seating area in the lobby, the Leche mocktails at the bar and the central location of the hotel was awesome. We enjoyed our NY trip.

Someone from the staff opened the door for me upon arrival, I received a bottle of wine, and my room was ready early. Everyone on staff was extremely helpful with recommendations and directions. I had a great stay and enjoyed the VIP treatment!

The hotel is nice and has a great service but I wish they have more comfortable mattress and pillows (one was too small and soft, the other too big and hard). I may stay at this hotel next time if I bring my own pillow

For how nice this hotel was supposed to be, we were very disappointed. The service was very bad from the start. Out the gate, they got us confused with another guest and tried telling us our stay was not for the days we booked. Then, because of our Hotels.com status, we got a free bottle of wine. However, they forgot to give us a bottle opener and never brought one to us despite a call we made where they promised to do so. Our room was also never serviced by the maids, despite a call to the front desk where they promised to do so. The room itself was fine, but small (which is not unusual for NYC). The room had amazing black out shades, as promised. However, the room was not really soundproof as claimed and we woke up multiple times due to noise. Aside from the service complaints, the hotel itself is probably a high end 3/5 hotel. I do not agree with the ratings that rate it much higher.
