Overall, a very great experience, except for the air conditioner was kind of noisy. it was really nice to have a little living room and there are enough supplies. The bathroom was really clean. The bed was really big and comfy. The price was reasonable.

The water for the shower would not get hot. We had to leave it running for about 15 minutes before it would get warm. The parking situation was not the best, there is a paid lot next door, but we booked for a Saturday night and all th spots were taken because of the bars nearby, they don’t have their own parking as shown in the price of booking. I had to park blocks away and walk to check in.

The hotel was quaint .The room we stayed in was very small but had a lot of character. The location was great. There were restaurants and shopping nearby -- all walkable.

It was, in a word, subpar. All made for people who regularly stay here, they don’t own their own parking lot, no amenities either. But it is a beautiful space, truly.

Such a wonderful hotel. It's an old building and there are many quirks that come with that. This is one of our favorite hotels that we have ever stayed at. I would recommend staying here to everyone.

Great Hotel. Otherwise wish we had a Window view looking out to the city and not into a bunch other room windows. No privacy!

The hotel is old, but has a nice exterior. The room was very small, and the reception area felt cramped. The room lacked good amenities, and the AC was excessively loud, making sleep difficult. The view was poor, and the price was much higher than average for what was offered.

we arrived at the 2nd floor ,where our room was, there was alot of smoke on the hallway and in our room. smelled really bad(burn cooking oil). apparently thats because of the restaurant on the fist floor, they need a better ventilation

An older hotel. Very cool style. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to all of downtown. Excellent running trails in the canyon by the state house.

Front desk staff is amazing. Great area, very walkable and in great condition. Only complaint is the fee for parking and the noise of the traffic.

3 night stay for a conference at nearby Salt Palace CC. I chose Peery for its history and unique character over a cookie cutter corporate tower (still, it’s a Hilton property). The bedroom itself was great - 3 bright windows on a corner facing 300S - minimal noise from street/sidewalk. Comfortable bed, desk for work, space to move around. The bathroom, however, was the smallest I’ve seen in all my years of staying in historic hotels —- sorta comical to step over the toilet to reach the shower! Regardless of it being “cozy”, everything worked fine. Besides the room, I enjoyed breakfast all three mornings at “Eggsburgh” on the ground level and found the area around the hotel walkable, clean and safe. It’s about 1 (very long) city block from the nearest TRAX station, which I used to get in from SLC airport.
