Absolutely beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Always a smile and a warm welcome. Great nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Perfect location on canal.

This is such a lovely hotel, the room was amazing, staff very friendly. Very clean. Great breakfast food choice of fresh hot and cold food. Really nice decor - the terrace by the canal was a nice place to have our complementary drink and nice touches like chocolate when you arrive and biscuits when you leave. We had a great time thank you! Also very convenient for attractions and close to station. Everything was a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The Orangerie provides a relatively affordable glimpse of the luxury world. Rooms are larger than most hotels, bathrooms are a little small, but very well designed. We picked this hotel because of the Small Luxury hotel designation and it was as good as we expected. The entrance is a little downtrodden, but immediately upon entering you can see the care taken in the public rooms in the back and the friendly staff service. This hotel falls into the ones I think are jewels and likely to be overlooked - sadly - by many travelers

Wonderful property in the heart of Bruges. A former convent, this classically adorned hotel is filled with character and history. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff helped us with dinner recommendations and train planning and ticketing. Make sure you enjoy the breakfast. If we ever have the pleasure to return to Bruges we will stay here.

The hotel use to be a convent. The hotel is very unique and we loved our stay. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and gave excellent service. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Brugge. Great location and the hotel gave us a walking tour map! Their parking is a few blocks away but there is also public parking that’s a bit cheaper.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Bruges. Fantastic staff who were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was servedd in a lovely setting and plenty of choice. Drinks in the lounge by the fire was a small part of the day we looked forward to. An old building so do not expect huge bedrooms but very comfortable beds.

WiFi was drop constantly. It would happen every 5 minutes. After I mentioned it to the staff it did get better but it would still happen throughout the day. This was not a huge deal but became frustrating when I was try to address an issue with a previous hotel and the WiFi would drop and it delayed my conversation with them.

This hotel was in a convenient location to walk around the city. It has a cozy sitting area for a drink and working fireplace. Room was large and comfortable. However, when it came to going to sleep, the pillow had a large orange stain that looked as though someone had used it and it wasn’t cleaned. There were numerous strands of long hair, as well as smaller hairs, as though someone slept in the bed and the sheets were not changed. The room telephone does not call down to the reception so I had to walk down to the lobby for assistance. They came and changed the sheets but did not seem surprised. Based on this, I cannot recommend this hotel because there are other beautiful hotels in the area.

In Dutch we use the word mist for fog… it was foggy…misty? Or rather mystique? Bruges is beautiful in the fog in the winterperiod, when Christmas lights give it that little extra touch. The hotel was warm and welcoming, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Centrally situated and next to the canal. I would avoid a room on the groundfloor with Frenchdoors leading directly onto the street… you cannot leave them ipen for one ( everyone passing can walk straight in) and secondly, you get woken up very early in the morning by the waste collection trucks in the street.

The room service was sub standard. Didn’t even bother to make the bed, empty the bin or refresh bathroom products. On the second night there was no hot water in the shower. When we told the receptionist she shrugged and said it was because we were on the top floor.
