I paid for the room tariff plus breakfast in advance because I like Japanese Food. But I was only told upon arrival that the Japanese restaurant was temporarily closed at breakfast time. Thus I asked for refunding the breakfast payment at the front desk but was declined. What’s more, when I went to the western restaurant, it’s full of people and messy. I was very unhappy with the stay at Laguna Garden Hotel.

Spacious rooms. Beautiful hotel. Overall rooms are a little old but very nice. Staff are also quite helpful

Indoor pool is nice. The hot tub could have been hotter. I couldn’t use the public bath since i have a tattoo. I couldn’t try the breakfast since I left early every day to go on excursions. The hotel is far away from Naha

The staff, although unable to speak English fluently, went to great lengths to assist with any of my needs and requests. They did not stint until satisfaction was obtained.

We always stay at Laguna when we visit Okinawa. Excellent staff, customer service and breakfast. And the morning buffet is amazing!

I had a very nice in this hotel. All staff members are super friendly, helpful and polite. They really made my holiday joyful. I will recommend this hotel to anybody planning to travel to Okinawa.

Older hotel but good amenities. Spacious room. Not too many electric outlets typical of older hotel.

The Laguna Garden Hotel was the hotel associated with an international meeting being held at the Ginowan Convention Center. The hotel was in good proximity to the Convention Center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was generally good, when it was open. Some of the hotel restaurants and the bar was only open on the weekends. Many of those staying at the hotel were from the US and EU and are accustomed to being able to have a drink in the evening. Given there was no bar where patrons to meet and visit over drinks during the week was quite disappointing. The pool facility was quite nice, but the hotel adhered to the antiquated policy of denying pool entry to those who had visible tattoos. While this policy impacted a small number of conference attendees staying at the hotel. I do not have tattoos, but I view this as an unacceptable, discriminatory practice. While this policy seems to be dissolving at hotels on Japan's main island, this hotel seems to be hanging on to this antiquated, cultural discriminatory practice.

The overall experience was amazing, the only confusing thing which wasn’t specified when booking is; that during check in, you will need to bring your passport with you. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints

The hotel is nice and walking distance from a very nice beach. There is an outdoor pool although it’s not deeper than 4ft. The indoor pool is open late and has a water slide which was a lot of fun. We were there during the week and were very disappointed that only one restaurant was open during our stay. Turns out on Saturday more restaurants we’re opening and there was an event by the outdoor pool being set up. For a “resort” it was very limited and had nothing going on during the week which was disappointing. However it’s well located to the city or to the northern part of the island.

We had a pleasant stay it was in a good location. The rooms were very clean and the service was excellent. The outdoor pool was lovely. Indoor was under repairs I’m sure when it’s up and running it will be lovely as well.

Hotel super clean, beautiful friendly staff, but for me personally the food and facilities like a bar that is open everyday/night and gym would have made it more enjoyable. The cafe area which had limited alcohol had also limited hours.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Very pretty. If we ever go back to Japan we'd stay there again. The beds are harder so we were worried about not sleeping well, but we actually slept better than on our own bed which is softer.

Nice staff and amazing room at a cheap rate. Best bang for your buck.
