It was a nightmare staying there The check in was late At first we received a room with a terrible smell. As if a dog slept there and it was super stinky The crew members we’re mad at us for not letting them know at the first moment of this odor We advised them a couple of hours later after the smell wake me up They moved us to another room Then the next day to another room Then there was no hot water Everything was a nightmare Worst experience

Friendly, clean, and great location!

The shower temperature is not steady. And where are the welcome chocolates on the table? The 2 men in the reception are great.

I’m didn’t eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food the room was clean and well appointed. The coffee facilities in the room is far better than most hotels as I had a bean to cup machine so had coffee on tap. I grabbed a glass of local wine in the

Great spot. Close to amenities like transit, quieter district, and kind staff. Would return to this hotel, easily.

The location is excellent. I recommend booking a larger room, as some of the rooms can be quite small, though they are clean. The soundproofing is impressive, and the reception staff are friendly.

Room spotless, staff helpful, great choice for breakfast, amazing location; walking distance to many attractions; will definitely stay on next visit planned for December 2026.

There is a health club in the basement and the running causes vibrations in the whole hotel from 6AM to 9PM. There are noisy people in the street every night after midnight from the four bars nearby. It is a narrow street so the sound echos. Stay away!

Great location and very helpful and friendly staff

We landed in Paris at 7 am. When we went to the hotel, it was obviously too early to check in and we were told by 3pm the room would be ready. We left our bags in a designated room they had and spent the morning and early afternoon in the city. Around 2pm, we called the hotel in hopes the room might be ready as we flew 7 hours from the U.S on no sleep and walked a large amount of the city from the time we landed until 2pm. They said it was not ready so we waited and then arrived at the hotel around 2:30, at this point only half an hour to spare. The room was still not ready, so we sat in the lobby where the receptionist had seen us and knew we were waiting. By 3 pm we were still sitting in the lobby in front of the receptionist so we asked at this point if the room was ready and he said “oh i thought you were waiting for someone it’s been ready.” My family and I were frustrated as we had been waiting all day and it was clear we had been waiting. Other than this occurrence, we loved the room, the staff and the location of our hotel!

Beautiful amazing Paris boutique place. Walkable with an excellent location.

Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff. Only downside was the air conditioning did not keep the room cold enough.

Hotel Daunou Opera is in an excellent location. Its very close to the Metro and about a 10-15min walk to the Louvre. Rooms in Paris are all very small and we chose a room with 3 Twin beds (2 Twins + Twin sofa bed) to fit our family of 3 but there was no room outside of the beds and suit cases. Beyond the size of the room we did have a very noisy group above us which made it a bit hard to sleep at night. Overall, the room worked out well for us.

That’s a great hotel, and we’ll be there next time.
