Wonderful place!!! Would highly recommend. The owner greeted us personally, helped upgrade our room and booked reservations for dinner for us nearby. Lovely place and people.

Really touched by the level of care I received from Pat and team. It was better than a 5 star hotel. This is what true hospitality is. Cannot fault anything

Very friendly and informative staff. We were given a map of the area upon arrival that included great beach views and restaurant recommendations.

The Aberdeen Lodge is a cozy and friendly place to stay in Dublin. The staff and service were excellent. My fiancé and I enjoyed the added breakfast, for which there were vegetarian options, and we used the readily available public transportation nearby. A bus stop was within a 2–3 minute walk, and the DART station was less than 10 minutes away by walking. The DART station was a great option for seeing the coast, while the bus stop gets you easily to the city center. We also really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the lodge's neighborhood - it was a nice escape from the business of city center in the evenings.

Our stay at the Aberdeen Lodge was lovely. Pat was so accommodating and helpful! It was a safe and comfortable base for us to explore Ireland for the first time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a personal, individualized and comfortable experience.

A beautiful property, diligently maintained by the owners, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Breakfast was top notch, and eating out on the patio when the weather permits is highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.

It’s worth being a little bit distant from Dublin for a good nights rest in an stress-free setting after a long day of sightseeing. This Hotel breathes the comforts of home. Everything was immaculate. A very relaxed/personable atmosphere in an absolutely beautiful hotel. The question you’re asking yourself is, “Is it worth it?” Answer = YES

Ann and Pat are the very best of hosts. The property is gorgeous, the breakfasts are excellent .... especially the Irish breakfast, my favorite. Ann and Pat are so helpful and accommodating. We really felt at home. I loved having coffee on the patio in the morning with Robin and Hope, their two Golden Retrievers. Their house is on major bus routes so getting around was easy especially to get to downtown Dublin. I can't say enough about Aberdeen Lodge. We loved our time there.

The owner went above and beyond to provide insight on local travel/sightseeing/restaurant suggestions. The property itself is gorgeous, immaculate, clean and walking distance to the sea and two small villages. Very easy to access Dublin via public transport. They service your room daily. Providing continental/traditional Irish breakfast options. Definitely recommend!

First time in Dublin and this was a perfect choice for two nights! Pat was a marvelous, attentive host and the Aberdeen definitely showcases the charm of a family run lodge. When we return to Dublin, I will look here first. Thank you, Pat!

Absolutely exceptional! Everything about Aberdeen House completely exceeded my hopes and expectations. The lodgings are wonderful, beautifully restored and exquisitely maintained. The staff are uniformly pleasant, professional and helpful. Your host, Pat, is unfailingly courteous, patient, and generous with his time and local knowledge. The neighborhood is beautiful, eminently walkable, and convenient to the seaside as well as the charming village of Sandymount. Even the dogs and cat are friendly and pleasant! The bus line is less than 100 m from the front door, and the train is an easy five-minute walk. Either will take you to downtown Dublin less than 15 minutes. I’m traveling solo on this visit to Ireland, and can’t believe my luck that I was able to reserve at the Aberdeen House. I’m already planning a return visit with my GF, and will absolutely plan on visiting Dublin and staying at Aberdeen House again!
