It was great. People were amazing. And fun.

No self laundromat. Saw a huge cockroach in my room during my last night of stay (staying 4nights), and I couldn’t sleep well because I didn’t know it will come to my bed while I was sleeping!! Other than those, should be a decent hotel.

Good hotel in a nice neighborhood. Would recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham

The breakfast and breakfast staff were very accommodating and happy! The lighting on the bathroom mirror wasn’t working and the loud traffic that occurred in the late evenings wasn’t pleasant.

Nice property. Only negative was the visual condition of the elevator door

The staff did not upon check in explain that a further $25 would be added to hotel bill as some sort of deposit til I checked out & then would be returned ..... Still eaiting fir that $25

Really enjoy the stay at this hotel. The convenience to downtown Birmingham, all restaurants and shopping was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again on my next trip.

Need to redo the parking lot but everything else is very good. Third time we have stayed at this location and will use it again in near future.

Lovely hotel. Could use a pool and better breakfast options. More fresh fruit besides a wrapped red apple daily and more meat besides only bacon.

Good hotel. Great staff , very helpful. All go above and beyond. Special mention for the evening front desk staff and the breakfast staff.

I enjoyed my stay here, king suite was 140 a night tax and I stayed here truly for the tub. The room had a jacuzzi tub with jets and it was exactly what I needed and 10/10 would recommend for the location as well as it’s right near downtown Detroit 5-10 min away from almost everything. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. There were a few small things we needed and the staff was very accommodating. I will probably stay here again in the near future.

The parking is very limited, but it worked out ok. It would be helpful for the desk staff to tell us our parking options st check in. We had a wonderful stay, with ouf concert venue and many good restaurants nearby.

My wife and I were generally just satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and the staff's reception and service.

My husband was ill and the manager was very accommodating in letting us keep the room on check-out day to the last minute before travelling, way past the usual check-out time. On a completely different note, I find it very unecological to use plastic cutlery, cups and plates and throw everything away.

Very nice stay while my wife had surgery at the Beaumont Hospital nearby. Breakfast was plentiful, the room was comfortable, and it was easy to navigate the nearby area. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express!

Such a hidden gem!! The property is newly renovated and beautiful. The rooms have large bathrooms and was immaculate. The breakfast was the best I've ever had a free breakfast hotel (cook individualy pancake maker!!). But the best part of my stay was the amazing staff
