Our stay at Hotel on Jakobsmarkt was very good. It was a 15 min walk from the train station. Room was clean. Not super spacious for three people since there was a pull-out bed couch which we used. Room was a little awkward to get to. It was on the 4th floor: elevator from ground floor to first floor, walk down the hallway, take the elevator to the third floor and take the stairs from the third floor to the fourth floor. Area around the hotel felt safe and not super loud or busy. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel has no lift, and my room was located in the annex building, which looks like an old historical house with several floors. I had to carry my heavy luggage up to the second floor, which was quite challenging. The sound insulation was also very poor — I could hear people talking in the next room and every footstep from the guests on the floor above. Also, not all staff members speak English, which can make communication a bit difficult. Overall, a mixed experience.

Great location, close to the Old Town and other attractions. Plenty shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay with a firm bed, but bath towels have done their time. Only drawback is no kettle, tea or coffee provided, you could pay and get one from the reception desk.

Love that it is close to restaurants and historic places.

Overall we have an excellent stay in the hotel, the location is perfect to tour the old town and convenient to take the subway. Many restaurants, cafes and shops around the old town atea

Didn’t know what to expect but was surprised by the friendliness of the staff and how helpful they were

The hotel is within walking distance of the main train station. It’s close to a long time sausage restaurant and two other restaurants. It’s also close to the Germanisher Museum as well as the entire old town. I enjoyed the included breakfast and appreciated the clean room. It was a very comfortable stay.

The free breakfast and parking were a great bonus! The hotel is also about one block from the city’s medieval wall!

Nice , clean , familiar location

This is our favorite hotel. Bu I didn´t like that my room was changed from the old (annex) building to just standard room overlooking the street(noisy...). I do not like the glass bathrooms. We were told there were problems with heating in the old building but nobody informed me in advance (via e-mail). Learning this upon arrival was quite annoying...

Liked the hote location, staff were excellent, but was a bit disappointed in the lack of things available inside the room, no kettle or many TV stations.
