An old building, with a modern room and bathroom. Clean and tidy throughout. Perfect location for visiting the city. Very reasonable on-site parking too (£7.50/24hrs).

This hotel was adorable, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I would completely recommend this place for others, and would love to stay here again.

The hotel is situated within very easy walking distance to the cathedral literally five minutes and the same into the town centre. It has a good sized car park at the rear with £7.50 overnight stay (24hrs) The exterior building is sadly falling into disrepair which is such a shame because it has a lovely frontage but all the cladding is cracking and the woodwork around all windows is in a dreadful state - the bedroom I was in overlooked a roof area which was not a pretty sight at all and looking out mine and all window frames were rotten through - dreadful! It needs a complete exterior refurb with new windows and frames as they really are so bad - crumbling away I’m amazed they don’t have bad damp issues Inside the hotel is decorated to a nice standard - it was comfortable - breakfast was a good choice I was only there overnight in a standard room but it was comfortable and clean Reception staff all very nice and helpful

The main reason for choosing this hotel is the location, which is perfect, it even has good sized parking area. You will be charged a £100 fine if you overstay your selected time, even for a short period, so keep this in mind when paying for your parking in reception. Its an old property so expect the problems that come with that. But the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the staff were wonderful and so helpful. I would stay again.

The room was extremely noisy. All night either air conditioning units or cooling systems were running. I had approx 3 hours sleep

A great location for all of Salisbury. Everything was within walking distance. The cathedral was 2 minutes away. Parking was easy and had a £7.50 cost per day. The hotel itself was quaint beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Decor is a bit dated and looking shabby in a few areas but overall impressions were very positive.

We had an apartment. The apartment block as a whole seemed freshly decorated, as was our room; which was also equipped to a high standard. The main hotel was well presented. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. Hotel is really well situated for the centre of Salisbury. Bit of confusion regarding the car park as there is a public car park on Brown Street, which is separate from the hotel car park. We were on the top floor, which had no proper wardrobe, probably due to the sloping ceiling, just a short hanging rail. The apartments on the lower floors more likely to have a wardrobe. We had specifically requested a high floor and it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay.

There was no lift and although staff helped me with my case,I still had to climb up and down to the 2nd floor. I had asked for a lower room because I have severe heart failure, despite having booked in January, there were many people, far fitter than me on the 1st floor. My room was clean but the curtain was not hanging properly. Many of the carpets need a clean, so did the big window on the stairs which was filthy with cobwebs, The garden needed tidying up, there were cigarette butts everywhere. The parking was perfect. Most of the staff were very helpful.
