Staff were courteous and breakfast was good. Noisy, inconsiderate guests in various neighbouring rooms prevented a good night’s sleep (despite it being a less busy Sunday night at the hotel).

The staff were very welckming on reception.and in the dinng area but however i found there was too much noise going on while we were here not sure what was going on it appeared to be some renovation work but it kept us awake for 2 out of 3 nights also it was very hot for sleeping breakfast was very good didnt disappoint and staff were great

Room was dirty. Shower curtain mouldy. Shower was only luke warm. Would not use this hotel again.

Staff friendly, good breakfast

First time we had stayed in a Holiday Inn, chose it because they accept dogs. Very welcoming, efficient and friendly staff, clean room with everything we needed and comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with a lot of choice.

The staff was were really good, friendly and helpful. However the room was paid for was a premium family room for 4 guests. We had 1 dressing robe, and in the complimentary fridge their was 1 bottle of fizzy water (no one ever likes) 1 ready salted bag of chrisps and 1 Kit Kat, as a family of 4 this wasn’t very well thought out. The tea and coffee selection was ok? May be hot chocs for the kids and 4 cups instead of 2? More milk only 4 little pods. The coffee for the machine was all decaf pods. The machine looked like it hadn’t been used and was dusty. The towels again not enough for a family of 4. The bed was comfy ish but pillows was horrendous we all had stiff necks. The best part of our stay was the breakfast! You couldn’t fault it and the hotel is close to where wanted to get to and explore. We traveled 2 and a half hours to get to York

Lovely couple of nights away

This was our first stay at a holiday Inn and we were really surprised at the quality of this hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a great stay.

Great breakfast. Room decor a little dated but would stay again

Breakfast was ok. Some stuff had run out and there was no non dairy option for butter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Comfortable room and bed. Bathroom would benefit from a little maintenance of the grout and sealer around the bath and a new shower curtain. (Room 34)

Lovely staff excellent breakfasts clean room, however the bathroom was a big let down, shower didnt work property, i couldn’t have a shave the sink didn't have a plug and no running hot water in the sink.the toilet was extremely high , and the safety handle on the shower wall was quite loose

My stay was adequate for a nights stay

Could have done with a night drink sachet like hot chocolate and a biscuit complimentary in room. Staff excellent. Comfy room and quiet. Excellent breskfast choice.

Arrival staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff also very friendly and helpful. Room was clean when we arrived, but as we stayed for 2 nights, there was no cleaning. On the first morning. Only milk replaced. Cups not washed, and tea bags not replenished.
