Great location! Nice room

3/10 experience. Upon arrival we had to pay for parking which was a bit unclear on Expedia’s website. (other properties typically say parking available - $22 a day, this property just says parking available) That’s a simple error on my end just helpful for others to know. Despite that paid parking, the next day we had a parking ticket… I took the ticket inside and brought it up to the concierge who seemed very frustrated about the situation. (Same concierge who we checked in with and paid parking with.) I assume from the reaction, parking tickets are very common in the parking lot. The room was mediocre at best. I have lots of photos of gross things we saw just on a brief look around the room. Seemed almost as though they were a “fix it good enough” kind of place, with no solid standards which says a lot. I typically book a hotel with a pool in mind and we stayed during a heat wave (45 degrees) and the entire stay the pool was closed. Now I understand this probably is a rare situation but I wouldn’t have booked with the hotel had I known this. I went to the gym with my partner and only one of the treadmills worked. The equipment didn’t seem to be well maintained or looked after. The garbage was full and I am 100% positive there wasn’t enough traffic yet that day for it to be full. While I’m grateful for a gym, I’m very disappointed in the state of the gym.

Tv was impossible to watch, poor quality. Pool was closed for over a day on the hottest day of the year. Requested a view of lake and got the basement

My room was excellent, well kept, enough toiletries and coffee pods. Breakfast not the greatest but it was OK. There is a bar restaurant attached to the hotel -the Port House, with good foods, great views and excellent service. I couldn't use the pool, it was closed, apparently they had to do a throughout cleaning because too many children the day before... Gross...so good thing I didn't use it. This is excellent choice, good value, right on the Harbour, unbeatable news and location, just 10 min drive from GO train.

This location has it all. Great view and wonderful people. We had a great experience and are already looking forward to coming back.

Everything went well. Clean room nice pool. Even breakfast was better than most. Not crazy about paying to park. That was the only downside

It was just a great place to stay.

There was some trash left in the bin when I checked in, and the bathroom tissue dispenser had blue stains on it. These things made the room feel a bit less clean and well-prepared.

Property was ideally situated on the waterfront trail. Staff were extremely helpful and room was comfortable allbeit dated. Great value for money and across the street from the best pizza ever - Pizzaolio

Completely met my expectations for a quick stay. Hallways felt a bit stuff but the AC in the room was fine.

Could use new carpet and a tougher cleaning.

Great hotel on the water, in downtown. The only thing is parking. I did not pay attention that we had to pay $22 Canadian every day for parking. Also once the lot is full you have to find someone else to park. They do have another lot close by.. so that’s the only downside about this place otherwise it’s a great place .

Great hotel ac units some rooms need upgrades

I have been coming to this hotel annually in summer for years with the exception of last year. I feel that attention to detail for guest experience is key. He bathroom ceiling was cracking, the vent in there was dirty, the cupboard in the bedroom had scuff marks and the carpet needed a shampoo. It's not as well kept as previous year.
