Hotel was ideal for what we wanted & convenient to get to the Ladies Scottish Open Golf at Dundonald Links. Good Breakfast although it was a bit hectic when 3 Bus Party’s arrived.

Needs updating & install some lifts.

Overall lovely hotel on the inside downstairs, Our room was very basic and a funny smell in the corridors and our room, other guests had also mentioned it, Got breakfast delivered the next morning some items missing and no toast or milk for tea. Staff friendly and check in and out easy. Good location.

Stayed at riverside 3 times now. Lovely rooms, good location just off main road but need a car. Only complaint was there was a noisy coach party leaving at 7am but not hotels fault they were noisy. Will stay again next time in Ayrshire!

Hotel was great, lovely decor ,food nice, excellent staff nothing a problem for them, great outside sitting area.

We were up to visit family and friends, met some in the bar. The room was as we requested, ground floor with walk in shower. The addition of a grab rail and shelf for the toiletries in the shower would be a good idea and why does hotels always have loose toilet seats?

We all had an amazing stay. Food was delicious and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Only thing that could be improved on is to have full length mirror in rooms as we were attending a wedding and couldnt see ourselves before leaving. Also need charging points by the bed. Otherwise i would definitely recommend to others. The staff were also very nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you!!

From the friendly welcome at reception when we checked in until we checked out we found the staff really helpful.

Clean and modern foyer , restaurant and room , Friendly & helpful staff . Maybe a fridge in room would improve the stay
