Everyone was very friendly, especially Kate from food services. A special shout out to Michelle at the front desk and Roy in housekeeping. Some things were a little outdated, but it looked like they were doing construction and everything was pretty nice overall.

When purchasing this room I was under the impression I would have the king bed with the updated room as shown in the pictures but when I arrived the room was not as shown in the pictures and the bathroom sink was not cleaned well. The reused toilet paper from the last persons stay instead of placing a new roll on the toilet paper holder and it was gross.

Our room never was supplied with towels in the bathroom. It was fairly clean too. Need a different kleenex box cover. Hot tub was not in service and sounds like it is eliminated or will be eliminated from the swimming area. I probably wont stay here again.

The hotel is going through a remodeling and is going to be beautiful! Breakfast was good and plentiful..Aside from the forgotten. Men's underwear hanging behind the bathroom door from the last guest everything was great. When I approached the front desk the next morning to mention it, I was met by a less then friendly manager who seemed rather suspicious that I didn't immediately come down to the front desk and complain the night before when we found it. After diving 11 hours 4 of which was in a bad snowstorm and arriving after 1 in the morning I just wanted to get some sleep. My 2 friends and I promptly checked out..

I think this is my first bad review. Maybe they are short staffed because everyone seems to be, but it was like they did a superficial clean and left. The bathroom had something like dry wall chips on the edge of the bath tub, hair and open used soap in the bathroom and no towels at all. I moved the night stand to use plug in and there were pretzels on the floor next to the bed. No top sheet on the beds. The screen was sitting outside of the window. They did bring towels in less than 5 minutes after calling and leaving a message. ( found the other stuff after) The breakfast was nice enough.

The room was nice and clean, but the hall was not very nice. There are no elevators to the second floor and the stairwell we used was tight. We were in Hayward for a bike race, and lack of elevators and the tight stairwell was a bit of a struggle for my daughter when she was carrying her bike. Our room was otherwise nice and the beds comfortable.

The check in went smoothly. The front desk staff was not friendly. We walked in and stood there for a minute as we didnt see anyone. After looking around noticed the attendant was sitting behind the desk the whole time and didnt bother to greet us. The room smelled of cinnamon air freshener and Marijuana. You could not walk around without shoes on because the floor was filthy. The top blanket covers on both beds were dirty. The actual blankets and sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean. The pool was nice, the whirpool was out of order. Overall not a horrible place for the price but, I would expect the rooms to be clean.

The hallways need a lot of work. Need to be updated and cleaned daily. The parking lot needs to be repaved and lit better. My room was updated and clean. The lobby and breakfast area are nice. The food was good. Definitely a mix of old and new.

We had paid for an upgraded/remodeled king bed room, but once we arrived the man at the front desk told us they only have a handicapped king available and we would not be getting a remodeled room that we paid an extra $100 for! There was no water pressure and the water didn’t become hot until the shower was on for 10 minutes! I’m so disappointed.
