Did not offer debit deposits as advertised. Room was sketchy and the air conditioner didn’t work. There was no option for extending the stay an extra night as the hotel was “closed” the next day. Felt rushed out at checkout since a lot of the lights were off. It was very bizarre.

The place has become rather run down compared to previous stays.

Was a great Hotel for 1 night stay downtown And continental breakfast was great too!

Cute little hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and personable. Lots of entertainment and restaurants in a short walking distance. Also close to the river that has a good area for walking. Some parts of the room could use small updates but overall very impressed. Will definitely be back!

The staff were beyond amazing and friendly. Our original check in went well. The price was fair for the room, however we ended up paying so much more for another room that was much less. Not looking at their budget cuts (Brita filtered jug water and low quality shampoos and soaps) the 2nd room we got had no latch to put across the door, their temp gage was hanging off the wall (we fixed it to get the fireplace going) and the tap in the room leaked when we turned it on. The power did go out, there was no emergency lights working that were up and around the exits, just candles if they were able to have them out in the stairwells. I liked that the building felt secure at night, with staff checking and letting people in. They did this during the outage too, and that was comforting to see that safety was a priority to staff. They allowed us to have a later checkout due to circumstances. The breakfast was regular continental (bagged bread, bagels) however the utensils were very unclean so we did pass. The "gym seemed very unsafe, and I was not sure why the massage tables were hidden in the back when I didn't see an offer for massage. I would not return. This hotel has amazing potential, but for what we paid, we could have had a nice stay away somewhere much fancier in town that included a pool and where my kids felt clean and safe.Thankful for the friendly staff and the welcoming.

only complain was the tower … a little too snowy/flurry. lol

The rooms are in need of an upgrade. Shower curtain rods are rusty, tub was stained from age.

Nice place loved the heat lamps out of the shower, clean cozy close to everything.

The staff are friendly. It's a quiet place at night. Just a heads-up, if you get there late, your room might not be warmed up/cooled down properly.

It was not as clean as I would have liked

Customer service was very good but rooms need updating. Not possible to watch TV as it kept cutting in and out. No USB ports for plugging phones, tablets etc. Doesn't appear to have A/C but only heating. Room was extremely warm so had to open the windows to cool down. Otherwise the stay good.

Clean, a few nice amenities in the room, and an older charm.

This hotel is right downtown so there a lot of dining options. Walkable to coffee shops, grocery stores. It’s not quiet because it is right downtown but being that’s to be expected. Great stay. Breakfast was simple but did the job. Staff is fantastic. Great to talk to and they will help you with anything.

Quick and easy on time check in experience. The hotel is older in style and finishings but clean. The parking is a block away, but not an unreasonable distance, especially since there is temporary parking available for loading/check-in.

I checked in and when I went to see the room, I decided to leave and stay elsewhere. The only window in the room was inaccessible for fire escape and the room had a bad smell.

Property was clean, quiet and room was spacious

It’s a nice older building, friendly and safe. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There is a fire place in the room. The microwave in the breakfast corner needs cleaning. Free breakfast was a nice touch and adequate. Parking is free in the parking garage a short walk from the hotel. There are several restaurants close by and as a hotel guest you get a discount. I would stay there again.
