It’s a very nice hotel, close to the Sports Center and Convention Center. About 1.5 miles to the beach - we were there for my daughter’s beach volleyball competition.

Overall stay was nice. Disappointed we had to pay for parking. But what was most unfortunate was the restaurant attached to the hotel. Trying to get seated or even water served was ridiculous. The food was meh at best for how expensive it was. Tip, don’t order scrambled eggs unless you like a scorching hot plate with cold eggs on it.

Lots of travel this day meant I'd be checking in super late. One of the front staff was very nice about this and the check-in experience was great. I'm assuming that this hotel is quite old and has been renovated, etc. The facility, however, has issues. The elevators and floors of the hotel were hot like saunas and extremely uncomfortable. Once in the room the A/C unit was leaking horribly bad and the floor carpet was soaked and the floor carpet was dirty. You could tell that this was not a new issue. I reported it to a staff member that night and they seemed unbothered and said they would have someone look at it the next day. Upon checkout I reported it once more and the staff once again said they'd have someone look at it. I was just left with the impression that many people were told that. There was no shampoo in the room, just two shower gels and a conditioner. Just lots of small things and building issues that added up to be an unsatisfactory stay for a bill of $350 a night. Also, Hotels.com states that parking is free yet you do have to pay $10 for each night and put a pass in your car to not get towed. The location is convenient next to the convention center and that was the biggest pro for this hotel. I would stay elsewhere next time.

All was good with one exception. Parking. One night at 10:30 when I returned to the hotel. There was no handicapped parking, let alone regular parking. I have trouble walking. I was not about to park in the dark around the back of the hotel. Someone did come out to check the parking. Finally, a place on the street on the side of the hotel was available. It was still quite a walk for me back to the hotel.

Good location, restaurant on the property had horrible service at breakfast. We saw many people leave after ordering and waiting over 40 minutes for their meals. The kitchen was slow and wait staff was not attentive. Pool looked dirty. Rooms were nice.

No microwave in room. Lobby was bare. Restaurant had terrible food. Phone charger in room didn’t work. Location poor, convention center had backed up traffic. Apartments next to hotel caused parking confusion.

Everything was pretty nice except for the resturant food and price. Breakfast was terrible. By passed eating there after one meal

Room was clean and great service.

We stayed for a nearby basketball tournament and it was super convenient!! The outdoor fire pit and Dj was awesome!!

It was a nice property , excellent staff and the restaurant was good. Room was clean and up to date. Would recommend to others.
