Loved our rooms. Not in main hotel building - in a small courtyard behind it. Perfect for us - so pleased we were allocated those 2 rooms. Only reason not given 5 stars is the difference in room equipment. No fridge in one and a fridge not working in the other.

Lovely hotel with charming decor and ambiance. Great service with the carpark shuttle from offsite parking.

A fabulous, characterful place to stay. Our room was comfortable but very dark with no view.

The superior room was days, dusty, cob webs, musty and one solitary old bottle warm musty water as the sole item in the non working minibar. Minimal bathroom accessories and no where near the normal 4 star standard and baseline charges that were charged

Very old building rooms are typically french, a quite hotel but right in the middle of the citadel so you do get some street noise at times. A lovely 3 night stay

Superb location within the walled Cite, excellent options for breakfast, helpful staff and ride service from hotel's private parking lot to hotel. Quality establishment, and we'd stay here again.

Amazing setting. Very disappointed with room. We paid for Superior Double and out in a Classic room. The photos of our classic room was shown on several websites as a Classic. When I queried this they said it was a superior room. That the photos of our room was mistakes. Within minutes our room photo disappeared completely from the websites. Everything else about hotel was lovely. But our room very disappointing. Very dusty, had problem with flushing toilet and when windy the ceiling tiles in bathroom were lifting and clanging. I asked for a refund on room but not given. Allowed us free parking. Did offer to put us in a superior room but we only had one more day so too much hassle.

Character hotel, right in the middle of the citè. Ride from taxi area right o the hotel in one of their cars. Great stay!!

Hotel wonderfully situated. Room had enough space. Bathroom was large. We chose to add breakfast which had a lot of options: eggs, bacon, cold meats and cheeses, breads, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit and juices. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful, however I booked the deluxe room and when i got into the room it looked like the pictures of the cheaper classic room. My room description had a bathtub and we had no bathtub. The pictures of the deluxe room also had an outside sitting area and we only had a juliet balcony. I asked the front staff and they said it was about the size of the room not the amenities. I didnt see another room so i don't know if i was lied to but the pictures of my room look like the classic room.

This was the perfect place to stay if you were visiting Carcassone!! it was located right within the walled city, and definitely had an old world feeling. It was clean and wonderful and the staff was great. The breakfast was delicious and the location was superb. The only thing that I didn’t think was that great was the air-conditioning in the room. It was a little too warm for me and felt stuffy. However, I did open the window, but there are no screens in the windows
