The breakfast menu was OK. The juices were watered down and in the restaurant, depending on the chef, the food could be great or it could be mediocre.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My 3-star review is mainly due to the restaurant experience. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious, but unfortunately we had issues with almost everything else we ordered. Overall, the food quality was disappointing. After 10 PM the menu changes, and when we ordered a crème brûlée and a tres leches along with our meal, we were served completely different desserts that were tasteless and dry. What was even more frustrating was that the staff tried to convince us those desserts were in fact the crème brûlée and tres leches we had ordered, as if we didn’t know what those desserts are supposed to look and taste like. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and ended up leaving the hotel for dinner every evening because the restaurant experience did not meet expectations.

The room was clean, the hotel has a hair salon and that’s wonderful. Besides the service available to guests, there’s also the safety of not having to go out to get the service and be exposed to the dangers of the street.

recently stayed at the Casa Dann Carlton Hotel, and while the physical condition of the hotel was good, my experience was marred by significant communication issues and rigid customer service. The Positives The room itself was clean, nice, and well-maintained. I had booked a King Size room, and it was exactly what I expected in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The Challenges 1. Booking & Check-in Confusion I had a frustrating time with the reservation. Although I attempted to book for 2 adults multiple times (and the rate for 1 or 2 people was the same), the reservation somehow defaulted to 1 adult. I called the hotel directly a week before my arrival to confirm that the room was for two people. The agent I spoke with wasn’t very helpful but explicitly confirmed that the room was for two. However, upon arrival, I was told the reservation was only for one person. I was forced to pay an additional $100,000 COP per night for the second person. Even after speaking with the manager, they refused to honor the information I was given over the phone simply because I used Expedia as a third party. 2. Poor Phone Support When I called ahead of time, the customer service was lacking. Beyond the confirmation error, I was told that airport transportation was not included because of the third-party booking, and I was unable to add an extra night through the hotel directly. 3. At the reservation is say the shadow to the airport is 24 hours every day and it’s not they don’t have service to the airport and only taxi and the taxi is expensive. Also the room it was so all smell like humid and the brake for the bathroom it was not working the lamp and the room. It was broke all night and all day they left the door for the emergency exit open in Bogota is not safe to leave the door open. I called to front desk and they told me oh yes we have to close and I say it’s been open all day and I was next to the door. The room is smell bad and not clean. The reviews and the hotel say is fire stars but for me is very old Hotel and the managers they need to take care all the stuff.
