Unfortunately it was really warm and there is no air conditioning in this hotel. It was just so hot.

Stayed here the night of a Dua Lipa concert at the aviva stadium in June 2025 Cannot fault the proximity to the stadium, our seats were on the same side as hotel (coincidence! Green entry area block 315) and the journey leaving the stadium to being in our room was 9 minutes. Stunned! The hotel put on a BBQ and DJ on day of event too which was great. €8 pints and €10 burgers, prices were a little steep but convenient vs getting food in the stadium. Only concern I would flag is if you are travelling by car. Lots of nearby road closures to be mindful of if driving, even the hotels road was closed but the Gardaí were manning the blocks and opened entry for us to get in. There are not many parking spaces!!! We arrived around 30 minutes before check-in time and there were only 3 spaces left.

Room was good and so is location. Soundproofing is not great though and you can hear everything from corridor or surrounding rooms. Would not recommend if you are a light sleeper

Lovely hotel, very clean, breakfast had loads of options. Staff were very welcoming. Great atmosphere, brilliant location, easy to get the dart from connolly station. Hotel very near aviva stadium, 2 minutes walk if you are heading to a concert. I would highly recommend this hotel, 5 stars.

It was a little hard to find the way to the parking area, but the hotel was nice.

Ideal for concerts or matches in the aviva. Older hotel no AC or fans in rooms.. rang 3 times for fan got it over 2 hours later..maybe fans should automatically be placed in rooms over summer months. alot of restrictions in place within hotel due to concerts..no room service, no food in bar only in restaurant which was a pity as they would have made a fortune..

Sandy mount hotel is convenient for train to get you into Dublin centre. Lift from car park to reception was broken which meant we had to carry bags up lots of stairs, porters did help with suit cases. Overall cost with Expedia was not competitive with Hotel’s price. For 2 nights we paid over £100 more than hotel were advertising and breakfast was not included, We ate in the restaurant which was not a pleasant experience. The food was great, the service too was good but the design of the room with so many windows, tiled floors and nothing to absorb the surrounding sounds made dining unpleasant. We could hardly hear each other and we were sitting opposite each other. On a plus the room was comfy and hotel convenient. I won’t be using Expedia again having found I could have saved £100 on the same booking.

Loved the hotel and their employees. Loved the convenience to the stadium. I wish it was a bit closer downtown.

The lift from the parking lot to reception was broken requiring everyone to carry there luggage past (and often into) our door. We were the only room on the stairwell landing from parking and it was constant bumping and dragging of bags down the stairs as people checked out starting at 6am. There was also a large bright security light just outside and angle slightly toward our window. It was quite bright in the room even with the blackout shades closed, and you had to keep the shades closed so you could open the window to get airflow. The hotel itself eas fine and the food at the restaurant good. DO NOT stay in room 271 if you can avoid it.

The hotel is lovely and only a short distance from the Aviva Stadium. The staff are very friendly and the bedrooms very comfortable. I will definitely stay at Sandymount again.

This has to be one, if not, the best hotel in Dublin. Great staff, always friendly and welcoming. Food and drink selection is outstanding (not to mention the Guinness). Great location for all amenities

Excellent location, friendly staff, great bar food. Car Park lift out of order and struggling to rooms with cases, up stairs and down corridors tinged visit somewhat.

We enjoyed the neighbourhood and the character if the hotel. The staff were pleasant but not as helpful as in other places. We felt like an inconvenience when we had questions. Maybe it was very busy??

Very convenient to access from the airport. Quiet, clean, with lovely staff and a great restaurant.

Really nice hotel newly renovated. I stayed here over 20 years ago and it still has all the Irish charm from a traditional hotel just outside the main city limits of Dublin. Loved our stay!!

Sandymount hotel was well kept and pretty. Our rooms were clean with updated with modern accessories. Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.
