We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating throughout. The grounds and rooms are well maintained and food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast were prepared to a very high standard. The only thing I would mention is that there is a breakfast buffet advertised by Expedia; flagging that this is only for continental and the hot food is made to order (I imagine because it is a smaller amount of rooms than a larger property, so reduces waste and improves quality control), just to avoid any disappointment for those who prefer to choose themselves how many items/type of hot food they prefer. However, as above, the quality of the breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of options to suit all palates and a range of dietary requirements.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The building is gorgeous just as the grounds of the hotel and the nature around. The staff is exceptional - very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The breakfast is delicious, the dinner amazing as well although the dessert menu could be improved. Definitely can recommend this hotel!

Great night away, rooms were to a high standard. Your jolly and helpful waiter was a great character and looked after my gluten ftee needs. Will return.

Amenable and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere add to this l slept in the most comfortable hotel bed l have ever slept in. Decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Everything about the Buxted Park Hotel was superb, starting with the staff: they were deeply knowledgeable and personable. The rooms were beautifully furnished and afforded scenic views. Dining was a delight. Finally, we enjoyed the estate grounds. The Church of St. Margaret the Queen provided a religious and historical uplift. And don’t miss the many trails on and around the estate!

We arrived at the given time of 3pm, only to find that the room was not ready. We then had to wait for about 45 minutes before we were able to gain access, during which time we were left to our own devices, and we sat in the bar area. During this wait it was clear to see that there were insufficient members of staff on duty. The lounge area was not cleared after guests departed. The Maitre-de, was clearly annoyed with his bar staff and was rude to them. He was seen to be drinking from a left over order that had been cleared onto the bar from the dining room, and was clearly unprofessional. Breakfast the following morning. Whilst the master of the room was clearly good at his job and was friendly, the staff under his control, did not exude his same professionalism. Despite having to return a coffee pot that was tepid they proceeded to deliver another pot from the same pre-heated urn, which again was tepid. It took another guest to similarly return another coffee pot, that the realisation that the heating source was not working correctly. Finally a fresh, hot coffee pot was produced.The presentation and service was otherwise excellent.

Our second stay at Buxted Park. It is a beautiful Country house hotel with stunning grounds. The room was very comfortable with quality bedding, robes and slippers, a balcony and view to the lawn. There was a wedding while we were there but still a quiet stay. The reception staff were lovely, polite and very helpful too. I would come back again.

Everything possible was done by all staff encountered to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable nothing was too much trouble Food was excellent at all times and the surrounding estate very picturesque We were both very impressed with our stay and rate the hotel very highly

Had a lovely one night stay. Staff were incredible, super friendly and helpful, especially the sommelier Marc. Food was also delicious. Great that it’s dog friendly too, our puppy loved it!

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The attention to detail was exceptional. Even to the point of providing gluten free biscuits in our room! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. We honestly think this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in in the UK.

A lovely stay at a beautiful hotel with top quality service.

Had a 2 day stay at Buxted Park Hotel for a family wedding. The facilities were amazing. The rooms for the ceremony were spacious, clean and well able to cater for the wedding guests. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing well cooked and catering for all tastes. The gardens and surrounding park is well kept, restful and beautiful. There is plentiful seating areas to sit and enjoy the views. Our room, (standard) was large, clean with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, safe, large wardrobe a clean well stocked bathroom, etc. Our room on the ground floor overlooked the garden. All in all a lovely hotel with all you need for a wonderful stay.
