The mattresses were a little hard but manageable. For Canadian Whisky drinkers, a double Crown and coke was about $50 CDN. (Ouch). The location is unbeatable and the staff were incredible. Highly recommended.

The tapestries, chandeliers, spiral staircase, exquisite colours and elegant furniture made this palace a delightful place to stay. Our room had plenty of space and a gorgeous bay window. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had! The staff was extremely attentive too. A definite must!

Great location and friendly staff . Upgraded to suite which was beautiful. Good breakfast. Only negative was husband had picked up a coffee at starbucks next door and tried to go to bar to have before bed cocktails and told he could not bring it in so we left. I think if we were going to order drinks in bar that this should have been allowed. As I said otherwise just a beautiful property with very friendly staff and very good breakfast.

Run as a traditional hotel with an emphasis on service. Limited facilities. Central location. My room was in need of a renovation.

It was one of the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed. The staff could not have been nicer. The hotel was beautiful and the location ideal. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

Perfect central location. Walk to river, access to train and metro, taxi stand across street. You cannot find a better location for central historic Lisbon. Breakfast in dining room was perfect with attentive staff and more than you could ask for.

My stay at The Avenida Palace was great! Great hotel and staff. Location was perfect for dining options exploring the city and for use of buses, trams and trains. Breakfast was delicious with many fresh options. Room was fresh and clean and comfortable. Truly enjoyable

I thought this hotel was as good as it gets. It's a clean, well-kept hotel with excellent staff. Breakfast was an excellent affair. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurant areas. Probably the best stay at a hotel I've ever had.

The Avenida Palace is an amazing hotel. Everyone is helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Highly recommend!
