The hotel is nice but felt little dated. However, the biggest plus are the staff and location. Especially the concierge and staff that helped us with luggage were very helpful when we stayed there. The hotel concierge suggested us to use the taxi travel services to see Portugal and important places which saved us a lot of time and were able to enjoy the trip comfortably.

This is a beautiful old world-feeling hotel, very grand and lovely! Staff were friendly and helpful. Concierge very good, gave us excellent dinner recommendations. Rooms were nice, but on the smaller side for such a grand hotel. I bumped up a notch, so we wouldn’t get the smallest room, but it was still pretty small for the price. Location is awesome. Walk to everything, or easily Uber. Nice bar for cocktails, and just relaxing, and piano player from 5-6pm each night. A lovely stay in this hotel.

What an outstanding hotel. It was out first time in Lisbon and chose the hotel for walking proximity to attractions, metro and train stations. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. Our room was extremely clean and well furnished with a stocked fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast was wonderfully elegant with staff in suits or tuxes. The food was extremely fresh with a variety of hot dishes, pasties and fruit. The coffee was excellent. Breakfast became a morning event for us as the dining hall was quite elegant - a great way to start the day. The bar was fantastic and the architecture and ambiance elevated our cocktail experience. The hotel was an easy walk to restaurants shops and bakeries - just a fantastic location. It is next to Rossio station making a day trip to Sintra effortless. Ubers were easy to get and pulled up right to the door. All in all, we felt the hotel elevated our Lisbon experience and greatly added to a 10/10 visit to the city and region. We were impressed by how the hotel staff worked to make the stay effortless with an evening turndown service accompanied by chocolates and a variety of bedtime treats. All in all, a well done stay and 5/5 stars!

Incredible staff. Great breakfast. And on our last day we had to leave early early--so they brought us a complimentary continental breakfast at 5:15 am.

Wonderful hotel - grand rooms, great, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. My expectations of staying in such a grand hotel in the centre of Lisbon were exceeded.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Lisbon. I loved the history and charm of the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely try to come back!

The breakfast was great. Air conditioning was nice and cool. Staff was fantastic. The hotel is in a great location with a little car port where drivers can drop you off. My favorite feature was the Living Room attached to the bar with beverage service and electrical plugs. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location… train station 1 minute walk for easy commute to Sintra. A great base to explore Lisbon. Breakfast is outstanding.. comparable to other 5 star hotels in Europe. Staff are all helpful. Would stay here again when /if return to Lisbon.

Elegant old hotel. Comfortable rooms but on the small side and some wear showing. Very conscientious bell staff. Front desk clerk was a little lazy with a dinner recommendation to a lined up mid range touristy restaurant. Excellent breakfast.
