First saw this hotel two years ago . Said if we came back to Lisbon, would stay there. Happy we did

Well located. Staff very polite. Had an issue with the bathroom door that was a little annoying. The door handle would not work without locking the occupant in the bathroom so the door handle was removed and the resulting holes were taped over. The door would then not subsequently close probably ... not a big issue but perhaps not what you wourld expect in a five star hotel.

Everything was perfect. The staff provided impeccable attentive service. Breakfast was an international feast and wait staff were organized, friendly, helpful and gracious. The hotel is palatial yet approachable and comfortable. Truly recommend this for your stay in Lisbon. In addition, the hotel is steps away from Rossio square, tons of restaurants and shops and central to many other districts.

Beautiful hotel, amazing service and a great location.

It was great to be back at Hotel Avenida Palace. We stayed here 11 years ago loved it. This time was just as wonderful. Great breakfast and overall a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff! Highly recommend!!!

We stayed two nights at Avenida Palace and loved the experience. The hotel feels like a real palace, with elegant decor and antique-style furniture. It’s perfectly located near major attractions and next to the train station (you might hear trains occasionally, but it didn’t bother us). Breakfast was the most varied and delicious we’ve had in Europe. The staff were kind and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to find small treats waiting in our room each day. Only downside: the carpets had a slight odor – but overall, a fantastic stay. Would happily return!

Everything was good

Amazing hotel. Check in and reception desk very friendly and efficient especially Amanda. Breakfast had wonderful choices and breakfast staff were very welcoming, efficient and friendly.

Old world feel with excellent facilities. Prime location.

Only problem was the artificial flowers.

An outstanding hotel with history and beautiful design. Would recommend if it’s in budget. People are very helpful, room was always clean after a long day.
