The property is ok but could benefit from an upgrade. The staff were great although there were issues with the cooling system in our room. The one and only off putting thing is the amount of flies in the lobby especially around the food at breakfast. I struggled to eat much because of this

We only stayed for one night but enjoyed walking around the area and found great places nearby for dinner and breakfast.

Good area

From all Europe this was by far one of the most beautiful experiences we had at a hotel. The front desk lady was so accommodating with us that we were traveling with a 1 year old she thank God speak Spanish and gave us tips to get around the city and made our stay so Wonderful 😊

The beds were uncomfortable. The sheets had a dirty towel smell. The air conditioner did not work well. Not a very satisfying stay.

Very warm and friendly welcome. The hotel has a lovely lobby bar and overall a very nice place to stay for crashing overnight for example. Excellent location by the train station and parking also available for cars.

My mom and I were in town for a family event and spent 2 nights at ibis Baar Zug. We had a a great stay. The hotel is located conveniently right outside the train station. Check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spotless and quiet with a comfortable mattress and no single-use plastics. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We will definitely stay there again next time we will be in the area.

No toiletries includes

The front desk host, Tamara is a friggin’ GEM. She made the place so worth staying at and hospitable. I would stay here again just for her services. Its very convenient to get to and from as the hotel is literally in front of the station. It is also not a long ride to zurich or down to zug/cham. Pretty central location
