Lovely dining room, nice atmosphere. Convenient parking. Helpful staff.

A great hotel near to local amenities

My husband & I stayed here for one night while attending a concert in St. John's Castle. It is a very convenient hotel as in everything within the city centre is walkable. It has parking facilities nearby but you will have to pay a discounted price. The hotel itself is okay. The reception area is nice with quite nice artwork. Our room was okay but we found the corridors a bit shabby especially near the lifts. The bar and restaurant is nice with a varied menu to suit most tastes. Last orders for drinks was at 12am which we thought was a tad early seeing as we were staying in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not avail of breakfast. The price of our stay for one night was in keeping in what you would pay considering most hotels are expensive to stay in nowadays. I would recommend this hotel for a one or two night stay but you would probably require more comfort and facilities for a longer stay :)

Great hotel. Clean, tidy and friendly helpful staff. Bar and restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. Seafood chowder was to die for. Just a short stroll to King John’s castle. Would stay here again should we come back to Limerick.

Dirty old room, not updated at all. Filthy what should be white curtains, stains all over carpet, greasy finger prints all over kettle. No a/c or fan so windows had to be kept open, noisy street below. They put the drinking glasses on back of toilet! Worst hotel of Ireland trip so far. Horribly uncomfortable beds and pillows. I’m

Breakfast was very good. Room was clean. Our bathroom had a sewer gas smell which we reported. Bed was ok. Hotel was in a good location for us and within walking distance of attractions.

Nice room, very good staff, easy access to other cities

Nice hotel on the river Shannon. Clean room though slightly outdated.

Internet WII FII was fine. No lagging no dropping once one. No problems with it at all. Watched my home channels and my Netflix was fine

No elevator! We were surprised by a two-storey walk up! Great bistro for breakfast. Warm helpful staff. So central and convenient to explore Limerick.

The hotel has a outstanding restaurant with delicious food, very helpful staff and a big carpark (big enough for my transit van) at low cost (€25 for a week).

Staff very professional and friendly, breakfast very good. Surfaces in the room very clean. Duvet very light and room quite cool even with heating dialled to highest setting. Very unpleasant smell in the room.

The staff was great.. the hotel has seen better days, it’s old and seems worn but for a one day stop before heading to Shannon airport it was in a great place. Restaurants and JJ Bowles pub and castle were walkable

We simply were not told that the hotel is filled with migrants and homeless. Windows either locked or broken, perhaps to stop theft. Buggies and pushchairs fill 1st floor lobby next to lift. Bags of food left outside rooms for the non paying guests, whilst the paying guests all on the 5th floor. Rooms are worn and outdated, but clean. Heating on full blast, why? To make the migrants feel more at home? No idea. On the plus side the polish lady who runs the bar area is lovely and the breakfast was really very good. It has a very traditional Irish BnB feel to it so credit where credit is due there, it’s just a real shame the hotel can’t be up front to paying guests, who really should not have to pay as much due to the circumstances. It left a bad taste and we couldn’t get out of Limerick fast enough
