The location is great, at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. You are in the heart of Venice. While the hotel is not new, we found it very comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed or stay!

This property is in a great location. With great locations can come noise! So my room was noisy well into the night. Rooms are dated, but adequate. I was alone, so my room was useful for that reason, as I had a single room. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, the location is what makes this hotel great.

Location, location, location. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. A few steps from the Rialto Bridge with all kinds of public transportation right in front. The hotel is also beautiful, housed in an old and elegant building. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only negative was the size of our room, which is, of course, a not uncommon issue with European hotels in the older parts of a city. But the positives easily outweighed this one negative, and we definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be in the middle of the action.

Hotel Rialto was a fantastic place to stay for two nights while exploring Venice, Italy. The hotel is within steps of the famous Rialto Bridge, access to gondolas, water taxis, water bus and more. The walk from the train station wasn’t too bad if you carry light luggage. If you have lots of luggage, take a water taxi. Walking to the many famous sites and exploring the city and canals was made easy by Hotel Rialto’s location. The room was sizeable and we enjoyed a balcony overlooking the Rialto bridge. The food at Ristorante Rialto was excellent and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was also very good with a wide selection to choose from. If it’s your first time in Venice, the Hotel Rialto was a a definite plus for access to all Venice has to offer. This review is submitted by a couple from Iowa.

We would stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bathroom updated. Enough outlets, bring converters. Do not eat at the Rialto restaurant! The breakfast provided by hotel was very good! Staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant.

The property was centrally located by the Rialto bridge which both good and bad. Good location but bad location as it was very crowded and busy. Evening and early morning was still loud. Pillows were hard and no coffee in the room. We had a mosquito in our room and were biten. Breakfast was included and was good. Do do not get a water taxi from the guys in from. Go to the left as you go out and ask for. Overall, nice.

Great location, comfortable room. Had a direct view of the Rialto Bridge. Can be a little noisy at times, but I expected it to be worse considering the location. It was great to be able to just walk out the door and be right in one of the top spots in Venice!

Room was cool, very clean and for me a really pleasant surprise. Wasn’t sure how I would feel because of outward appearances of buildings due to weather conditions. But that’s Venice in its authenticity.

We were given a room on the first floor. When we opened the door, we detected a musty kind of odor. Upon opening the bathroom door, the odor increased. It was coming from a drain in the floor. We covered the drain by taping down paper towels over it, closed the drains in the shower and wash basin and opened the window. Luckily, the smell diminished so that we did not have to change rooms. Upon some research on Google, found out that the canal itself added to the odor. We’re thinking the upper floors are not affected.

The room was very clean and neat. Great view, but room was smaller than I expected. It does have everything you need. There is an elevator wich is wonderful esp. If you have a large suitcase. Centrally located to everything. Breakfast was generous. Staff was very attentive and all of staff spoke English and spanish which was a huge plus. Very helpfull with map of town.

The hotel is in a very popular area and was very crowded on the streets but we enjoyed our stay there. Shopping, restaurants and transportation right outside. The staff was excellent. The hotel arranged transportation for us by water taxi right to the front door. We also were given an excursion to Murano that included a visit with a glass master! We would stay there again and recommend it!I almost forgot to mention that the hotel has a rooftop terrace that over looks the Grand Canal!
