It was great there was no water when we arrived but understandably out of the hotels hand other than that it was great.

Awesome space in the room. WiFi connectivity sluggish. Towels looks very old. Restaurant phone rings no one picking up which affects room service.

We were really impressed by how friendly + efficient the welcoming staff were: from the guard at the gate to the receptionist in the lobby. The facilities were of an acceptable standard, we would definitely visit again!

If you are in the hotel, just ask about the housekeeper "Virginia" This hotel was so nice and respectfully and excellence staff.

The only problem was that the online booking only allowed for 1 free breakfast (something not actually mentioned online, but told to us by hotel staff as we were checking-in) so there was an additional charge of more than 100 rands for the second breakfast and that made the price for the room higher. But, overall, not a bad stay. It was very comfortable.

Good

The hotel has a great layout, beautiful buildings and quiet environment. This would have been an excellent place to stay but for the hotel's lack of backup power source. There was power outage on our first day at the hotel and the guests were left without power from around 8am until after dinner when the management decided to lodge the guests into other hotels for the night. Also the staff at the reception were not very welcoming, not eager to assist or provide information and hardly with a smile. But in contrast, the staff in the restaurant were awesome, always with a big smile and they make you feel very comfortable.

The staff were friendly & the room was a good size. V safe neighborhood. Restaurant was good (not great but good). Balconies are shared with the room next door and have no furniture on. Think they are mainly intended for smoking rather than lounging.

Room size adequate!

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. I was there on a one-day transition from a safari tour to a plane back to the US. The location is very close to Embassy Row and Government Center and is in a very quiet and safe part of town. There is a Woolworth grocery store, an ATM and good medium-priced restaurants nearby. The pool is small but very clean. It is about 10 blocks from Gautrain, which provides excellent transport directly from the OR Tambo International Airport.
