The TV turns itself on lots of times. A bit scary. When I first checked in my room there was no towels given to me. The staffs were good. Breakfast was very good too

Stayed at Asahi for 2 nights whilst having a mini break in Dusseldorf. The staff are lovely and helpful, check in was smooth

Very overrated and overpriced. The rooms are clean and tidy but dated. The gym was pointless as all of the machinery very dated and I couldnt get any of it to turn on. Staff were great though and the breakfast was nice.

Interior is outdated and the rooms for sure lack maintenance! For the amount paid for just a couple of day, expectations are definitely not met! We did not have a bad stay but it could've been far better if the rooms were upgraded in a sense that you are in a proper hotel! The bathrooms must for sure be redesigned and upgraded! They were very small and not layout did not make sense..

Staff were amazing and very friendly. On our arrival we were shown a map of the area and explained in a very friendly manor where to visit. Anything you needed was never any trouble to the staff.

Close to central station, shops and restaurants

Finding the Asahi hotel it’s pretty straightforward. It is also a boarding house apparently but did not see anyone else staying so perhaps they had a different entrance. The service at the front desk was first rate, Super friendly may check in and check out a breeze. Parking was inexpensive at €15 per day and that covered 24 hours. Parking is assigned and recommend reserving ahead of time. I did not but was still lucky enough to land a spot right by the front door, I will warn you, the spaces are narrow as each spot has a gate of its own. The room was simple as expected for the great price and some of the features could be updated. Took a bit to get the AC working, but it did just fine. The hotel location is near Little Tokyo and a very good breakfast café. The walk to Little Tokyo is a bit sketchy due to panhandlers and drug abusers. My son and I were approached twice in one day and walk past Multiple people passed out from something. Did allow for some talking points with my 15-year-old so there’s that. Overall would stay there again.

The stay was ok, the location is good. For the price I have paid I expected a little bit more. The room was too hot and there was no AC.

No frills and needs updating.

From thus user’s perspective, the hotel is well run by competent, friendly and engaged staff (which goes a long way…). The place is also very clean, and the only drawback is that the overall furnishing of the rooms (well, the room I occupied at a minimum) seems in need of an upgrade, more for the looks than for function. The single occupant room I had is VERY small, but surprisingly functional (I.e., sufficient desk space to do some computer work. All this said, I would come back due to the professional and friendly atmosphere overall.

Very close to the station and Immermanstrasse. Very convenient.
