Great location for my purpose but expensive for what it is. I paid close to $400 and the bathroom needs work and everything is a bit tired albeit clean. Reception closes at 3 and bar at 2.30pm. Nice old building but why is Sydney so expensive?

Nice hotel in a good location in Paddington. The staff was very nice.

Set in a beautiful big older house now converted into a lovely unique boutique hotel. Good welcome, very spacious room with all amenities and extremely clean. Breakfast was included which was a bonus.

The room

Travelling with two Golden Retrievers was hassle free at this Hotel. They were welcomed as guests , given treats at the cafe and had their own courtyard off our bedroom. The room was kept clean , with fresh towels every day. We will stay again. It’s so close to everything.

This room was significantly larger than one I had when I stayed here before for what I believe was a similar price. This made a big difference in livability so choose your room carefully. Fantastic staff, great location, I'll be back

Beautiful heritage hotel in prime location in Paddington. The guy on the front desk was one of the most friendly, welcoming and helpful people we've met. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. Would love to stay here again next time we are in Sydney.
