Great location near Paddington, Surry Hills and short walks to Double Bay etc. Great onsite bar - Busby's where the staff are friendly and accomodating. Front desk are lovely and helpful. Also a great pool and bar to enjoy cocktails and food on a balmy sunny evening. Well priced for the smaller room which was all I needed when conducting business during the day. The room I was in was a little musty but the building is old and it had been raining lots! No leaks in room luckily.

The room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable however the room was very dimly lit and the heater didn’t work very well.

Very close to st. Vincents hospital , easy walking to everywhere .

The room was modern, clean and well appointed. One of the front of house staff was unhelpful and brusque when I checked in.

Super stay, cool surrounds, and super lodgings …could not fault.

The room was small & basic but nice. Not alot of space in the bathroom. No storage. No parking. But very convenient location to St Vincent's Private Hospital which is why we stayed there. Beautiful staff who were lovely & caring. Would stay again if we weren't bringing a car to Sydney.

When the photos are great but everything is much smaller , lift doesn't function, the bar and pool are closed, the room is tiny....

We had a great stay at Oxford House and liked the surrounding area. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so the pool area wasn’t open.

Great property and location. We stayed in the larger Arte Suite, which was fantastic. Only downside is if you have a car, parking options nearby are very limited.

Shoebox size room located above a bar. Definitely not worth 375 per night and would not stay again. Gave up after 3rd time of getting TV to work which was needed to drown out music from pool bar.

Really nice hotel in a great area of Sydney

This hotel was absolutely incredible—clean, beautifully designed, and smelled amazing. The staff were friendly, and the location was unbeatable, with retail, bars, restaurants, and clubs all nearby, plus easy access to trains and buses. One of the best places I’ve stayed, and I’d return in a heartbeat!

Buzzing hotel with fantastic pool and restaurants

We did read the reviews and got slightly concerned, however we always like to judge for ourselves. I was hoping this would be a new spot we'd love to stay at when in Sydney for work but we won't be returning. Firstly it says the hotel has parking but on arrival, we got told they don't. Thankfully, the gentleman let us stay in the car park for a $50 charge which is fine - we always expect to pay for parking in Sydney. Secondly, we read the lift was working on a review from 3 weeks ago. The lift still isn't working and they said it's going to be a while. Thirdly, we had no towels in our room so had to request we got some from reception. When we had a shower we discovered there was a massive leak in the seal and water went all over the floor of the whole room that doesn't have a rug. We also read about this issue on a review from weeks ago. You think they wouldn't still put people in that room until the issue is fixed. The room number is 320! And lastly, they did move us to a new room after I requested it because our floor was covered in water. We found 2 large cockroaches in the new room. The gentleman who served us was very understanding and kind and did also seem embarrassed because of these issues that I feel are ongoing problems for this hotel but have just not been looked at properly. On check out, I did inform the new receptionist of our issue and he was quite arrogant about it all but did comp our parking. If they fix up some basic things, this hotel could be ok.
