My room was lovely, staff were great and the breakfast was really good. Easy to park my van and the area around the hotel was brilliant.

In places the decor needs tidying up and worn carpets in corridors. Our room was spacious and clean. A runner had come off the wardrobe door so impossible to move it. All staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Decent size car park. Hotel lovely and quiet overnight.

Room was clean and had a lovely harbour view. The included full English breakfast was very good and the staff on reception and in the restaurant were always very accommodating.

Stayed for a 3 night break. All staff very friendly & helpful. Had a Harbour facing room but sadly not much of a harbour. Hotel corridors to rooms are tired & carpets need replacing! Also the bathroom in our room needs to be refurbished. Shower in a very old bath with a shower curtain & floor flooded every time we showered! Pool was nice have but the jacuzzi was out of use so that was a disappointment as we did not know until we arrived & it’s been out of use since April & it says it’s out of use for 8 weeks! We did eat in the restaurant on our first evening & the food was delicious. Breakfast was buffet style but plenty of it. Hotel is in a good place for travelling the south coast.

The bar and restaurant area is really nice, the rooms look tired and every time I left the room I had to go to reception to get the card reset

had a really great stay. booked it originally for a couples night away but ended bringing the children due to childcare letting us down so called on the morning of arrival and explained the situation and the lovely girl called jess on reception that morning said it’s not a problem at all and upgraded us to the last triple room they had left with a single bed and sofa bed in it and only charged us an extra £10 for two of our 3 children’s breakfast (which was also great quality and variety) so it was amazing value, great service whilst during our visit, lovely food and an amazing setting on the quay. oh and they also had a great bar and restaurant area and a gym, sauna and pool (which we didn’t get to use this time as we had the children with us) but next time we definitely will! i’d recommend to anyone visiting hayling island wether a family or a couple

Check in quick, receptionist nice and friendly. Hotel is in need of a refurbishment as there are threadbare carpets, door frames needing paint and generally needs updating. Bedroom a nice size badly let down by the really uncomfortable bed. Loved the Dyson fan that was badly needed and liked that you could open the window. Bathroom sink pitted and stained and find it incredible that a 4 star hotel still uses shower curtains!!! Door and frame in bad need of a paint. Haven’t ever been in a hotel where you have to put a notice on your door to have your room cleaned. Breakfast is excellent. Can’t comment on pool or gym as we didn’t use these facilities.

We just had one issue when we arrived at the hotel. We came 15 mins early on our supposed check in time which was 15:00 . The staff told us the room wasn’t available yet , fair enough. I came back again at exactly 15:00 and was told to wait for 20 mins as the room still not ready. We’ve waited until 15:40 before got our room but nobody even try to check on us on that 40 mins waiting time. Worst of all I have to queue again just to make a query if we our room was ready. We were really tired that time and was looking forward to do some activities in hayling island so evert minute counts. But in general ,our 2 nights stay in the hotel was really fun . The hotel itself is very clean and the amenites were good as well. The room is has so much space and the location is just so mesmerising. This is our 3rd time coming to Langstone Hotel in Hayling Havant . And we really loved it.

A lovely setting with views over the harbour. A short walk into a harbour where we were able to do a seal watching tour. Lovely dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was delicious too. Very friendly staff and tidy facilities. Would recommend
