This place is in need of major work. It looks like they are trying to renovate, but no signs and it looked horrible with baseboards off, paint or plaster all over the carpet, half the rooms had the room number written on tape on the doors and while that may be part of the renovation, why aren't the entrance doors clean-- they were gross? Or the inside of the elevator that appeared someone spilled a liquid on the metal button panel which was there the 3 days we stayed? We had to switch rooms because the warm water faucet didn't turn on, the TV didn't work and in the bathroom and there was hair in the corners on the floor. The 2nd room was better except there was several areas of orange makeup on the comforter, so we didn't use that. When we checked out, the manager said the hotel was just repurchased and they have work to do and get more staff. Maybe after they actually renovate it will be better. There was also an incident on their basketball court that involved guns being drawn, cops called and chasing down a person or two-- but the hotel can't be held at fault for that in general. It's a nice area, so we were surprised especially after i read reviews before booking which were 8.2/10

Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately met with an unpleasant and unsightly environment. The carpet was stained, and the overall appearance was disconcerting. I checked in for a three-day stay and, upon reaching my room, proceeded to the desk area to cancel my reservation for the subsequent two days. As I road up the elevator to the second floor, where my room was situated, I refrained from touching the elevator buttons due to their stained and dirty state. The brass fixtures were also stained and dirty, giving the elevator an appearance of neglect. Upon leaving the front desk, I observed that the baseboards had been removed, and the wallpaper was curling up. The carpet was visibly throughout the hotel. Upon reaching the second floor, where my room was located, I noticed that the baseboards throughout the second floor had also been removed, and the wallpaper was curling up from the bottom. There were stains on the door leading to my room. Despite these minor issues, the interior of my room was clean. The entire hotel room felt like a petri dish, lacking the natural beauty and freshness of a clean environment.

The rooms were ok, but it was noisy, especially early in the morning. The hallways appeared to be in the middle of being repainted and recarpeted. There was only sloppily applied primer on the walls and the floor looked old. During our stay of 5 days, we saw no one working on walls. Breakfast choices were fine. Service staff at the front desk were fine but getting someone to empty the garbage cans was impossible. Getting fresh towels took multiple requests and follow ups. We saw others going to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. There was no spare toilet paper roll in the room. In the kitchen area, the eating and cooking utensils were not clean, and plates, knives, forks, and spoons were not in complete sets. The person who prepared the room was evidently indifferent to these details.

The property itself wasn't bad, it's just I stayed from Friday to Monday and not one time did housekeeping inter my room.Never to empty the trash, vacuum or check the towels and linen . Terrible housekeeping.

The pool was not open

They are renovating hotel so it was unattractive. But our room was great. Very comfortable and spacious. Also the pool was not available. I'm sure once they are done it will be a very nice hotel.

The check-in process was easy. The desk clerk was friendly. I Immediately noticed the property is in process of a remodel with paint drops all over the carpets. The bathroom was not clean, there were hairs on the toilet & in the shower. I assume pubic hair because of location. I attempted to call the front desk but the room’s phone did not work & it was covered with dried white paint. I proceeded to front desk to request housekeeping. The front desk clerk arrived to clean the bathroom & while in the room cleaning, I found a condom in its wrapper on the floor under one of the beds. The front desk staff & manager were open to listening to my issues but because I booked through Expedia in a non refundable room she had no options. Friends stayed at this hotel in another room and also experienced issues with their room

Pool is not open due to issues; no hair dryer in the room; staff preparing for breakfast was overworked - only one person and could not keep up with the demand. The lady who ran breakfast could not read instructions on the pancake machine. The layout of the room is great, very clean as well. It seems the service is not as great.

Seriously stay somewhere else. Took us 4 rooms before we could find a bed to sleep on. One had dried snot and blood on the side of the sheets, another had brown stains on the sheets, another with hair and pubes on the sheets. I honestly think they just make the bass between guests and don’t wash the sheets. Check the other reviews and be warned. Also the entire hotel is under construction and looks ghetto. Nothing like the pics from the website.

This hotel is undergoing renovations and shouldn’t even be accepted reservations! There is debris in every single hallway! The elevator was filled with dirt, and debris! We couldn’t even sleep in the bed because the sheets did not look clean! We literally slept on the couch until day time so that we can just leave!

The hotel was under construction and there was no way to know that when I booked it. The room was in good shape and clean. The girl at the front desk was absolutely kind and helpful to me when I had a little medical issue and needed a store after 9p. She made the construction aspect not really matter.

Double suite with king and 2 queen beds, separate living and sleeping spaces was spacious, clean, PERFECT for travel with 2 adults and 3 teens with adult size bodies. Double suite also had 2 bathrooms and ample towels for our 4 night stay. Full size fridge and outdoor basketball court was a hit with teen boys. Outdoor pool was not yet open for the season. When we return to Auburn Hills area we will stay here!

The couch was ripped, stained, I wouldn’t even sit on it, it was so gross. The room was overall rundown and dirty. Having a two bedroom suite is very nice- but they need to update their furniture and clean it up.
