To start off, we got there and the pool was "out of service". I approached the staff and was informed that the pool would be out all week/ weekend. This would have been nice to know when booking the room. I contacted hotels.com customer service, who called the hotel to try to get more info about the pool. The hotel staff informed the costumer service rep that the pool would be reopened that evening. What could have been so bad that the pool was closed for a week but then as soon as i request a refund, it's fixed? I decided it was best for me and my son not to swim in the pool.
The breakfast was not good. The pancake maker was broken, there was hardly any eggs, sausage and zero bacon.
