Good enough !!

Booked a room for my husband's worker to do a job down in Calgary (we are in Edmonton). They wouldn't let him check in because he did not have a credit card for the deposit even though the room was already paid for & non-refundable. The hotel would not let my husband give his credit card over the phone even though it was the same card that paid for the room. Two angry calls later and it got figured out but the deposit got higher.. pretty disappointing experience overall. I appreciate that they dont let people check in under false pretenses but it everything is confirmed then I have no idea why they cant take the deposit remotely. Not everyone has a credit card!

The room was smaller than expected but very convenient and the staff were all really friendly.

It was fine and what I expected for a Super 8 Motel. It is definitely not a hotel. The pool was nice. Location was awesome.

Qiet, clean, room

Hallways smelled of smoke and were dirty. The bathroom had hair in it and the fan was dirty and falling off. The shower head was so clogged with hard water build up. Breakfast was ok but not great. Limited things. The staff was nice and so was the pool and hot tub.

Rooms were very clean! Pool was a nice warmish temp and a very nice hot tub!

Everything was great except we had bikes and they wouldn't let them in the room at first. They had a place to put them in a small hallway in front of a room we were told was not used. We locked them together and were assured they would not be moved ( as that would likely damage the bikes). Well, they did get moved, and luckily it only messed up my gears a bit and we were able to fix that. After my husband got mad about that, the manager let us put them in our room on our own towels.

Dirty dirty floors. Blood on sheets. Staff was rude. I received multiple texts between 8 and 9 am aksing when i was leaving

I got 2 text messages at 8 and 830 am asking me when i was leaving. Checkout supposed to be 11 am. A vaccuum goes a long long way. The halls and stairs were disgusting Ine of the beds had blood on the sheets. The staff, specifically one lady in a black pant suit, walked like she was better than everyone at one point even forcing me against a wall to prevent her walking into me. Stayed there before and wasnt this bad. Wont go back now, wont refer it wither.

It’s a nice and comfy stay but I wouldn’t recommend leaving your credit card payment for the damage deposit.

Breakfast ends 9am way too early. Seems everyone in the hotel needed to rush up there between 8:30 and 9:00 so very long wait for breakfast and things ran out without getting refilled. It should be offered until 10 or 11. Very sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot and behind surrounding building so a lot of garbage everywhere. Room has obviously not been updated in a very long time so felt dark and dirty. Thin walls, heard everyone in the hallway.

I had to listen to a dog barking all night. I couldn’t sleep. Not the dog’s fault. I tried sleeping in. Check out is 11, yet I had someone from housekeeping enter at 9 when I was naked, sleeping. Huge violation of privacy.

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful! The facilities were all clean, breakfast was good, comfortable bed, and an overall great stay! I will be back to this hotel!

Loved the suite, extremely clean and cozy, and super comfy bed. Only issue I had was when discussing an early leave with front desk, the worker I initially approached almost immediately shook his head at the question without letting me finish. When the manager took over the conversation and I got to properly explain the delay was on their end the one worker still stood there seeming upset that I was getting it. Just weird interaction.
