A beautiful place to stay

love everything

All round 5 star experience

It was a good experience however I would not prefer to go there again. The staff was ok but did not see any smiles. We went there with two families and everyone had the same thoughts that we almost felt unwelcomed. Special thanks to Mariene, Dianne and Elvis at the restaurant for their oustanding hospitality.

Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family. Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve. The classic decoration and the old Austrian style was impressive but at the same time you could easily identify how well maintained this hotel is up to detail. The room was beautiful, spotless and big enough. We had breakfast pre booked and it had great selection of breakfast including freshly baked Austrian Christmas cookies. The Christmas dinner was up to Michelin star level! Super delicious. The staff were so friendly but also very professional and I can’t comment enough the person that cleaned our room as for two nights they even polished the bath and cleaned behind the bed and that explains how spotless the hotel was. Diana and Doti at the breakfast made us feel so warm on Christmas like we were with family! The swimming pool was warm enough and also very clean. The windows around the pool offer beautiful views! There was play area that our little one enjoyed as there is plenty of space and activities and games to keep kids busy. Our son was also offered a sledge to ride as it had quite a lot of snow when we visited. The location is a plus also. The only thing negative for us was that on Christmas Day we would expect a bit more festive atmosphere at the dinner.

This Hotel is wonderful from the views to the great staff and wonderful service and the rooms are very clean. It’s 20 mins away from Salzburg and 50mins away from Hallstatt so you can get to both and the restaurant was great definitely recommend this hotel.

The spa is very convenient, beds amazingly comfortable and staff very kind. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel

Beautiful resort, graceful crew, clean room, delicious breakfast

Breakfast was best. Unfortunately place has difficulty handling crowds - especially finding parking, booking the spa, or dinner reservations. Perhaps it is understaffed because facilities seem massive. Would have been nice if pool included hot tub. Private beach was terrible - no "beach", no dock, and water was not more than 2 feet deep for 100s of meters in any direction. They should instead provide free access to the public beach next door (and provide shuttle service, the walk down/up to the lake is very steep).

Stayed one night at the resort. It was great! Beautiful property and surrounding area. Short walk to picturesque lake and small beach area. Outdoor terrace/bar for drinks and a lovely view. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Salzburg area.

Great stay!

Expedia says that the front staffs will greet you upon arrival. That did not happen. Instead, they let the guest wait for 15 minutes. There were 5 guests waiting for the check in, but the receptionist did not pay attention and kept on typing on her computer. When my turn arrived, she never smiled or greeted, and showed the attitude. Another front staff during check out was not kind either. I think they ruined the whole experience of the guests.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel resort! Thank you to all the staff! Our room was the best - spacious and with a huge balcony terrace! Can recommend this hotel to any one who needs a wonderful stay!!! It is really nice and surrounded by beautiful mountains right bt the Lake Fuschl.

Amazing hotel near the Fuschel lake in Salzburg. Great place to relax with an excelent indoor pool and spa, The room was very confortable with an excelent view. Great breakfast, restaurant and bar with outside tables not only for drinks but also to eat.

Amazing place with excellent service

Room facilities were good. In day time it was very hot in the room, so lack of air conditioning was significant. There was a nice small spa with a pool. Breakfast was very good and tasty.

When you have a hotel of this imposing category it is important to have the receptionists trained so that they make the guest feel that they are in a good place, this was not the case. First they gave us a room without air conditioning that exposed the sun all day, it even had some windows that let in more heat. Commenting on this, they misleadingly responded that "there was air conditioning" in another part of the hotel, when it did appear in my reservation. Then they told me that they did not have cleaning service and that they were going to deduct 5 dollars from the stay. At the end of the accommodation another person said that those 5 dollars were to be consumed at the hotel. These things should not happen if they want to be a high-class hotel. It's a shame because it's very beautiful but the service is shameful.
