It’s not clear when booking that I was not in the main hotel. The tower rooms are terrible: across the street away from the breakfast room and ironing room, thin walls where you can hear door slams from the street entrance, broken cheap wardrobe furniture, and the AC is not digitized and does not cool the room at all. I was very disappointed with the accommodations. The breakfast was good with variety, and staff kind and helpful. I will not stay here again.

Fantastic hotel with great sized family room on two levels with super breakfast. Staff were charming, really helpful and willing to help with all requests. Hotel is literally on one of the fares to Lucca, so fantastically central for all sights but also really peaceful. 100% recommended

The triple room we had was like an oasis for my family. Having the room in the tower was a fun experience as well. Air conditioning was particularly welcome during the hot July afternoons.

The room had A/C and very nice. However, the breakfast time is a little short. Other than that, this is a great place to stay.

The most valuable asset of a hotel is its staff. And Hotel Ilaria has a treasure! Congratulations!

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean air conditioned rooms. Nothing but praise for this hotel conveniently located at the entrance to the walled town proper. Added bonus - free prosceco between 5- 7 in reception area!

Everything was Great! Easy parking, nice Staff, ok breakfaste.

Hotel amenities are spectacular. Bikes were available and breakfast and happy hour were all wonderful! Great location to be inside the walls but not in the middle of the chaos and tourist.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Unfortunately it was oy for one night as we were just using it as a stopover as we were getting in on a late flight. I think we will go back to Lucca for another visit as it was lovely - and if we do we will stay here again. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and nice, the location was great - and the breakfast was also really good.

The staff were wonderful and the location ideal! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The room was small with basic amenities.

Upscale hotel. All day free snacks in the lobby including cappuccino machine. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff.

The free cafe / bar in the lobby was a unique and well enjoyed feature Breakfast was very good too
