Lovely hotel with the most comfortable bed! Great central location and really friendly helpful staff, especially Mini on reception who was so welcoming. Thankyou. We will definitely stay again.

Lovely characterful hotel in great location

Not enough people at front desk to check in/ out quickly. Room was ok, couldn’t completely turn off the AC. Breakfast was great.

Surprised that after taking the lift to the second floor bedrooms, there were then two small flights of stairs to reach them, awkward with a stick. The room was big, bright and airy. There was a lot of storage space, a fridge and decent seating area with two armchairs and a table. Bathroom was also a good size, although if you were tall the toilet was too low down to be comfortable (partner 6ft) I'm 5'4" and I found it just on my limit before being uncomfortable. Saying that, it was a really great place to stay. Central to everything we needed and we walked everywhere (except the jewellery quarter which was up a lot of hill so we got the tram). Would stay here again.

Great location. Room was lovely and comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful as we arrived early and left our luggage in the store until our room was ready. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have that during our stay.

Staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Facilities a little "tired" in places, but what you'd expect from a historic building. Breakfast was ok. Cooked breakfast not highest standard even though good quantity. Bed v comfortable and big room. Location perfect for central Birmingham.

Brilliant location. Good, but slightly tired hotel. No hot water in the morning but they did accept the issue. Staff were lovely.

Everything about stay exceeded expectations. Location , staff professionalism and efficiency at reception namely Mini , staff in the restaurant and bar . Only one night stay but check in & check out was seamless. Only thing missing was bottled water in room. Otherwise faultless Thank you !
