This hotel sits right at Copacabana beach at a rather older building that has been renovated. The rooms are rather spacious. The shower is amazing! Their breakfast buffet is really good - do not miss it!

No rooftop no pool.....on copacabana beach....the lobby have a feel of 60s opulence which was exciting..breakfast was great...our bathroom had a leak from the top and they kept saying they have no other rooms until they finally moved us. Next day we had a water isuue for 3 hours. They did not offer us anything extra for our inconvenience.

Very olde-world fancy. Comfortable beds, great view over Copacabana beach. Awesome dining room (air con was a bit overzealous) but the breakfast seemed to be mostly very rich cakes. I was happy with cereal and yoghurt, and very pleased that it was included in the rate. They were very accommodating to store our luggage until check in the day we arrived.

We enjoyed our view of Copacabana Beach. The room was clean with daily service. The furniture is dated, but that’s ok. Good breakfast included. The staff was excellent.

It was great. The breakfast surpassed my expectations. The rooms are clean and of good size. The shower had great pressure. Good bang for your buck!

Wi-Fi didn’t work until my last day. Had to pay to go to a coworking space everyday to use the internet. Hidden charges not in ANY documentation at all. Charged me for visitors and didn’t say a word about it. Confirmed with manager that it’s not on any documentation. I will NEVER be back.

Fantastic location, over looking Copacabana Beach. The hotel is not the modern but it has a slightly faded charm. Breakfast was good but could get busy. My room had a beautiful sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is great! I wasn’t impressed by the pictures when I booked, but the good reviews convinced me. In reality, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and convenient. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. I felt very safe during my stay, as the staff made sure we were well taken care of.

It’s a nice hotel right across from the beach. They provide beach towels. They have a great breakfast Buffett.

The hotel is right in front of Copacabana beach with restaurants, beach bars, and supermarkets nearby. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast with a lot of variety. The hotel is kind of old. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Olinda Rio Hotel.
