Comfy room and friendly staff

Friendly welcome. Easy parking. Great Indian takeaway and restaurant across the road. Big comfortable room.

Breakfast was very good. We checked in very late so we didn’t get to have dinner. The room we stayed in was good and the bathroom spacious too. The hotel needs uplifting everywhere.

Reception area looked ok, and the first corridoor upstairs where i presume the bridal suits are, but after that, the place is falling appart. Room door didnt feel secure, handle/lock (one of those old hotel door handles with the key hole in the middle) was nearly falling off. Luckily there was a chain. Looked like all the furniture was bought off a car boot.

Really welcoming staff and attentive at the reception desk. The older parts of the hotel could do with some updates, but generally a pleasant stay. Good value and good value breakfast.

The hotel is located just outside West Brom, tucked down a side street away from traffic with a shop just across the way. There was plenty of parking in the secure car park. The room was slightly dated and seemed to be awaiting a refresh. Despite this, it was clean, warm (and not too hot), and had plenty of space. Staff were really friendly when we arrived, and continued to be attentive during our stay. Fresh towels were provided when required. Overall, a good place to stay, especially for the price.

We got room changed to worse room because we were work men.. couldn’t sleep floors creed and squeaked walls paper thin could hear everything from other room.

Quick and friendly check-in. Staff had mad up the sofa- bed for my son, which was really nice. They ordered a taxi for us to go to the venue in town and were very informative when I asked questions. Room was very overpriced and smelled a bit musty. Mould in shower and stains on duvet. The window frames were dirty and the whole hotel is in dire need of renovation.

Decent little hotel, very clean, very spacious room. Excellent staff. Would stay again!

I started to write a long review and then gave up. Needless to say, we won't be coming back due to a number of reasons. From exceptionally poor management to bra pads lying about in reception, to being asked to leave as they'd allocated us the wrong room, this place is awful.

Hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay. Clean, comfortable and staff are helpful. Unfortunately mobile reception is poor if you are in a lower level room.

HEATING NOT WORKING IN ROOMS AND INSECTS IN THE BATHROOM Our family room was freezing due the hotel having a known problem with the heating (not working). We were provided with a portable heater which was not enough to warm up the room. We were promised a second heater by the gentleman on reception but this didn’t come. My wife and son caught a cold from sleeping in a freezing room and have been unwell all week following the stay. Small insects were coming in and out from under the worn seal next to the sink and hand towels in the bathroom. The hotel is dated and in need of repair/ modernisation. Service is terrible- logged a complaint when checking out on Sunday. Heard nothing so we rang the hotel on Thursday and were told by the general manager Jason that he was too busy to discuss and to email him instead. He acknowledged the email saying he was busy all day and would investigate and come back to us asap (Sunday afternoon and still not heard back!)
