During the checked in process, the receptionist (an old guy made a Xerox Copy of my passport (which is okay) and my MasterCard (which is not okay). He said it's for security purposes (which I completely understood), but from what I know, a certain amount should only be placed on hold for that security concern but not charged on the card, and yet it should not be Xeroxed Copying. I complained the following day to another receptionist who admitted It was Incorrect. He tried to credit back the amount. Thought this issue had solved. Surprisingly, few hours later I received notification from my bank informed me that I was again charged for that amount. I was never asked for a signature nor entered my PIN. I believe this was because they Xerox Copying my Mastercard and they simply recharged me whenever they wanted to. Again, I complained (another guy again; as the first and the second had never been seen around); He corrected and credited the amount back into my card. To my disappointment, later that evening, my card was back again being charged. As to date, I am hundred miles away down in LA, I have never seen that amount is credited back into my card.*) I am a legal US resident, But I checked in using my native country passport. The first receptionist might think I am foreigner who will not complain when he xeroxed copying the credit card information. Wrong sir, I would do whatever it takes to get back what belongs to me - my money.*)
