First time visiting Norway. Choose this hotel to stay at. At arrival (08/06) the lady at the reception wasn't very welcoming. Didn't tell us where breakfast would be, when the restaurant would be available or where to get coffee. Rooms were somewhat clean, still bits of dust under the beds. The shower is great, very good. The lighting however in the bathroom is really, really bright. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice we were able to cast to the tv and watch whatever! Breakfast was great, many option and all it was very, very tasty. However the staff is very loud when it comes to handling plates, forks, knives. As someone with ASS I had to eat while wearing my Loops. The food at the restaurant was also very tasty, bit on the salty side. We ordered the wild mushroom risotto and a burger with fries. The ladies that were serving were terrible, very unfriendly and in a rush to get us to eat and get out again, we could tell. We didn't feel welcome at all. After asking to check the bill and maybe add a tip (which we didn't think was necessary because of the way they were) she didn't say a word to us anymore, and just walk away.. very unprofessional. Upon leaving (11/06) a different lady at the reception wasn't very friendly either. She checked us out and handed us the receipt. No: How was your stay? Have a save trip or even a goodbye. In general, we would not pick this hotel again.

Excellent hotel in a great central location. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, a fantastic stay and great value for money. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stavanger.

Outstanding hotel, next to beautiful lake circled with 1.7 mile running/walking path. The absolute best breakfast and warm helpful staff. Hotel views are stunning.

We stayed in this nice hotel. The room was super clean and decent size. Smart TV was also available! The reception was friendly and helpful. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast buffet and the nice view that you can enjoy looking out direction the ocean! A big plus for us was that our small puppies ( 2 Maltese) were allowed to come with us to the breakfast area. which isn't normal for Norway!!! In this regard, they should definitely have some changes at least at the different hotels throughout the country. All in all I give this hotel 5 stars because it definitely deserves it. Even it was a little pricey... but what isn't expensive in Norway anyways. Lol

This hotel is located comedy to a beautiful park with wonderful walking paths through an abundance of trees next to a body of water. The rooms were fresh, nicely adorned. Beds super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding on the 21st level of the hotel. You can enjoy magnificent views of the city while enjoying your breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
