We had an amazing time.

The hotel really was excellent. Spotlessly clean. Lovely helpful staff. Beautiful swimming pools. Fabulous looking building. Very adjacent to the Marina Rubicon. The rooms were great and very spacious. Huge comfortable bed.

Wife found towels too thin and I found that the toilet paper was like tracing paper, apart from these minor things fantastic

perfect for female solo traveller's. Amazing staff, first class food, good locks on doors and telephone in room with 24/7 reception. Great location for a walk around the Harbour after dinner. Supermarket and pharmacy a 10 min walk away. Tea coffee herbal teas, fridge and kettle in the beautiful room service also hairdryer with defused and styling nozzle. shower gels/body lotion and bathrobes in rooms

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location by the marina where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful.

Great breakfast Clean rooms Great location

All good. The only issue I had was I changed the dates back in Sept 2025. I checked last week to make sure the dates were right and they still had the old dates. Luckily I could change them online but had to pay extra.

It was perfect for what we were looking for. A relaxed , inclusive week by the beach with pools. One of the pool was heated. The staff was lovely and helpful. The hotel was tasteful. There was a gym, a spa, a ping pong table. Breakfast was great. There were plenty of options for dinner,but not a fantastic culinary experience. Having said that it was fine.

This was our 5th time to stay at this hotel and we’ve had nothing but good experiences. We always holiday in Playa Blanca and have tried other 5* hotels but we always return to The Volcan. The staff, as always, is so friendly and accommodating. I love how they’ve kept the traditional Spanish feel and decor that makes it a joy to walk around and that they have added modern touches without losing it’s authenticity. It is always spotlessly clean and has the best breakfast buffet with so much choice. Highly recommended.

I had a great stay for the week, The room had plenty of space and was cleaned every day, the staff were all great, Cleaners, Reception, bar staff etc, the facilities and breakfast buffet was excellent, would definitely go back again.

I will book this again

This is advertised as a 5 Star property. However, there were a number of disappointing issues: A number of the on site restaurants were closed, the Wi-Fi in the room stopped working half way through our holiday, the 'Fun Pub' was only open between 20:00 & Midnight and was closed completely on Wednesday & Friday. The squash court was closed and the two treadmills were in a poor state of repair.
