It was as expected. The TV in my bedroom didn’t work. I didn’t ask for assistance so that’s on me. It’s a nice piece of property and it’s very well kept and my kids enjoy it in the location is perfect for the theme parks. Guest services are very responsive.

The property grounds were nicely maintained. The rooms were clean if a bit outdated. Check in was efficient. The location was great and close to area attractions. Our biggest complaint was our son reserved a 4 bedroom unit but it was not clear in the description that these were technically two different units not connected together. They had two small children so one entire unit was a waste and unused. The restaurant was definitely a bust. It took way too long for mediocre expensive food. It was too hot to eat inside as well. The pool bar had no food options and one worker who was swamped by the volume. I was also not aware that there were charges for all of the activities offered.

The property is beautifully, the rooms are super comfortable, and spacious. Love how centric they are to the places we were visiting.

Units advertised as a 4 bedroom are really just 2 separate 2 bed units. Our unit had a leak by the screen door. Several parts of property not in great condition. Service was average at best.

This property was clean, friendly, accommodating staff and a variety of activities on the grounds. The historic manor house and quaint coffee shop was beautiful!

What a wonderful family friendly resort, the grounds are immaculate, the unit was sparkly clean and everything inside in working order. The customer service is superb; they respond very quickly to any inquiries or requests via text messages. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I would stay there again next time I am in the area.

I have stayed here multiple times. This was the worst experience i have encountered. First i checked in and the room was ready the young lady said they would text when it was ready. It was less than 5 minutes they texted me. So now i had to stand in the long line again. I get to the room the vent in the living room was falling out the ceiling, the light and the fan wasn't working in the second room. Maintenance did come and fix it. Then the washing machine wasn't working. Had to slam the lid to make it work everytime we used it. The microwave was the same way. The tenants over top of us had kids the sound like they were going to come through the ceiling. The manager was suppose to call me about my issues and concerns. The manager never called. I was very unhappy with my stay this time.

It was such an amazing stay and we can’t wait to do it again. I wish we would have stayed there for our whole vacation instead of at the other hotel in Virginia Beach. I would recommend the historic Hilton to anyone and everyone

The staff was very helpful with all me and my guests needs. I liked the text message system because I got a quicker response since I was unable to reach anyone by phone located in the unit. I did find a few issues in the unit I noticed kind of late but still informed the front desk staff and let them know that the issues were not caused by me or my guests.

We were upgraded to an upstairs two bedroom. It felt like a little apartment. Very nice pool as well.

We’ve stayed here as a family of 4 many times, overnight, on our way to OBX. Great sized, beautiful, well-appointed units! The pool is fantastic. A great way to unwind after a day of driving.

I’ve been coming to the property since I was a child so over 30 plus years the property is well maintained and offers a lot out different activities

Service was very good. Apparently, the unit we stayed in had not been used in a bit. Foul odor from disposal, but when I sent something, was handled quickly. Killed a large flying bug in the sink of the master bathroom when I got there & the last day, lots of flies and moths kept appearing from somewhere, possible from the disposal, but I'm not sure. Only stayed 2 nights.

Our stay was very good. The kids enjoyed the pickle ball courts and the pool very much. Our only complaints are that the air conditioning stopped working the first night. It was fixed the next day which was helpful but our first night was a hot one. We also found, what looked like a roach, on the morning of our departure crawling up a wall. Photo attached.

Hilton is apparently opposed to leaving any knd of instructions-- TV, fireplace AND coffeemaker. Took me 2 hrs and my wife 30" NOT to figure out how it worked.

Gnats in kitchen and bathroom in first unit…second unit lots of noise upstairs

I stayed in the 1 bedroom unit with an upstairs full sized loft with pull out sofa bed. Perfect size for myself and my 2 kids. Size of unit is much more gracious than a standard hotel room and we had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. They had several large pool and hot tub options which my kids loved! Very spacious and all the staff from check in to pool staff, restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Another perk to this location is the proximity to historic triangle and to Busch gardens and their water park. I also want to give compliments to the housekeeping staff as they did my dishes and wasn’t expecting that! I would definitely stay here again!

Could have used more toilet paper since cleaning isn’t done everyday. Other than that a great place to stay.
