Excellent

An older but nice property within walking distance of good restaurants and all the sites and attractions in Florence. Great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. While the bathroom was adequate (just!), it was clearly an add-on from the days when there was a shared bathroom down the hall.

Perfect location and great hotel I stayed for seven nights at Hotel Bodoni (Florence) in February 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The Central train station and the old town were 10-20 minutes to walk. They offer a good continental breakfast! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating.

Clean and convenient. Got the job done for the price.

The MR helping at breakfast room is simply fantastic... every hotel must have a person like him... he is the best of the hotel

Its practically in the middle of all the action groceriesand restaurantsand museums. My room was clean. they have standard breakfast and a nice solarium upstairs. The office is upstairs. Rooms are in the 1st floor

We had a room with a small bathroom with a shower included over the toilet …. We didn’t use this as it meant all would be wet !!!

Nice simple hotel in heart of the City only a few minutes from main attractions and within easy walk of railway station. Rooms are warm clean and simple and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is very good too

The door of room is really hard to open and close .No Air conditioner was working. Washroom door was broken and not safe to take shower because windows were too high to close and open.No cleanex paper were in room.

Very well located and an excellent view from the rooftop of the city. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only downside was that breakfast was quite chaotic not enough seating for number of guests. Also there was nothing left by the time we arrived to eat.

Location was within walking distance to tourist attractions. Check in was on the 4 th floor and room was on the 1st. Was a little inconvenient . Breakfast was just ok.

My sister and I had a great stay at the hotel Bodoni! The staff were lovely and the room is spacious - and the location can't be beat! The only areas for improvement are in the bathroom - there were no hooks or areas to set your stuff down, and the shower stall was a bit of a DIY situation. Overall a really nice place and I would stay there again!

It was a very pleasant stay for us and two other couple friends. Rooftop view is amazing! The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff esp Alex are very accommodating and friendly. All the best BODONI HOTEL!

The service was AMAZING. The men working the front desk were SO KIND. The people working the breakfast room were cheerful and pleasant (also very helpful). The breakfast was tasty, the location was great. The room itself was not. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet wouldn't hardly flush, the shower was awkward, and it all was a tight fit, even by European standards. It was great on a budget, the staff made it so. But i probably wouldnt seek it out again.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's walkable distance to majority of historical landmarks. The breakfast was ok, not many choices. Would be nice to have some fruit and/or veggie options.

Hotel Bodoni is a very quaint, charming, boutique hotel with a historical feel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. More than worth the value as long as you’re okay with a couple compromises. The hotel is on the 4th floor, with only a small and very slow freight elevator to get up. Or the stairs. Took the stairs more than we waited for the elevator lol. The A/C works, but is on the weak side. And the shower, toilet and sink in our room was an all in one situation. So no separator from the shower, no shower door. Basically you had to wait for the bathroom to dry up after using the shower in order to continue using the bathroom. Otherwise worth the value! Would still come back to Hotel Bodoni.
