The evening receptionist was exceptional and so helpful, very polite and informative. The hotel is less than a 20 minute walk from the station so easy to get to. The hot tub and swimmjng pool was great. The fault I found is the rooms being a little cold

The young lady on reception was very helpful and polite. The room, although clean was a little tired with no ironing equipment (the receptionist did source a board and iron promptly).

This hotel probably would have been a very decent corporate hotel 20yrs ago. However it is very dated, and in need of a refurb. Our sofa wasnt made up for the children and was very itchy and dusty unfortunately. It's a shame as the staff were pleasant, it could be a great hotel.

The sofa beds need looking at as they are quite uncomfortable. My son had to sleep on the floor . The mattresses on the sofa beds are very lumpy . It would be better with 2 singles beds instead of the sofa bed and more chairs . The king size beds are very comfortable. The sofa beds let’s the overall comfort of sleep down

The staff in this hotel were really lovely - in the bar, reception, breakfast, they could not be faulted. The rooms were slightly tired and needed a little bit of work but the beds were super comfortable and I had a lovely nights sleep. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. I was staying at this hotel for a birthday party and the hotel provided the food. The food was excellent with a great variety for the buffet.

The room could of done with a bit of a make over some wall paper peeling off and house keeper tried to come in and clean the room before i even left on the morning of check out which check out was at 11am and hosue keeper came at 9am than felt a bit rushed to leave. But over all it was a nice place to stay and chill out.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and was perfect for a night away to see family on Christmas Day. Hotel is looking in need of a refurb but was comfortable, bedding was spotlessly clean and shower hot & powerful…..everything that was needed!

Stayed in room 106 TV only in one room, not bedroom TV doesn’t work properly Curtains were filthy! Stayed 3 nights and didn’t have my room service once while I was there…. Tried to ask a housekeeper to do it after the second night and she told me the room wasn’t on ‘her list’

My stay stared badly as the room I was given was not what I booked. I was downgraded without being told beforehand or at check-in. I had to ask why I did not have the right accommodation. I was given a lame excuse. The place I was given was not good at all. My partner was upset as it was our anniversary and I promised her a nice suite and received a poor second

The reception and bar all looked 2-3 star and staff very nice, but the bedroons and showers were so run down and furniture not fit for a charity shop! So needs a refurbishment. Outside deralict looking in places. But food excellent!
